It was a tough chance. I would say there is only a 85% chance of a local JV highschooler making that play. To be fair, there is a 95% that they get in front of it or make the play however.

It went from being 2 on with one out, a 2-0 count, and a third ball on the way to out of the inning in three pitches.

I think having a guy like Money at AAA works. These guys have been taught for years and years and now they are in a spot when they have to get over the hump, they could use a guy to exploit their weaknesses to try and make them better. This type of manager wouldn't work in A ball however.

If the Cars keep winning and the Braves slow down a little the Brewers could possibly be playing Arizona in the first round (barring St. Louis winning the division). -
Color me concerned now. The good thing is that the Braves are falling just as fast so we got a backup plan there.

Braun and Fielder don't necessarily need a man on second to score two. That's why I don't like it. Plus, if Braun makes an out Fielder is going to get walked maybe.
