  7. Hey, we've gotten to Turnbow Time. That's cool. Maybe tomwopat won't have to rush the field.
  8. i'm at the game, and if yosy having hardy bunt costs us the game, i'm going to run on the field!!!! Darn it, now I don't know what to root for! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

  10. Maybe Jenks isn't about to be replaced.. Or, Ned was just SURE that *this* time it'd be different.
  11. Ned really needs to learn how to pull a pitcher. 1. raise arm 2. touch other hand to arm. 3. take ball 4. hand ball to new pitcher. See, it's easy!
  12. 100% What are the odds someday people will quit throwing around "Yeah he was on roids last year" statements like they know something.
  13. Oh sorry I guess 2 out of 3 would have been jsut as bad as a sweep. He didn't say that, nor was that the question.

  15. It has become obvious that we can not breach the apparent invisible force field that separates us from a record above .500. I've thought about this very fact at multiple points during the last couple months, and I think the answer is less mystical than we'd like it to be. The fact is, when you start out several games below .500, you have to play above .500 ball to return to .500. So, the last couple months we've been at least playing .500, but when it comes to running off multiple wins in a row and getting to 2 or 3 over, we can't do it because we are, in essence, a .500 team. Therefore every time we win the .500 game, we're more than likely going to lose the game after, or the one after that, and keep bouncing around the mark.
  16. Jorge couldn't find the strike zone if it came up and slapped him.
  17. JDLR 2 days in a row must be some sort of record.
  18. How close to a homer was it? I didn't get the impression it was deep, just crushed to a gap or something.
  19. Man, Cruz just got robbed.
