  4. I'm probably leaving after the 4th, if anyone else wants to take over then..
  5. I believe you are incorrect when you say 6-4. Thats the SS to the 2b man. If its a ground out to short, its 6-3. Wow. It's stupid day, apparently.
  6. Question - If Ben pitches great today, can he still break with the club or has his ticket to Nashville already been punched? I suppose anything could happen, but I would tend to think he's gone no matter what. Hasn't looked horrible so far though.

  8. I can do running box for the first couple innings at least, but no guarantees on continuing when I get home.
  9. I'm not sure why they call it an icon. Because you have a gold circular icon immediately to the left of your username on all your posts.
  10. ja002h, that's correct. In theory if every user (and lurker) here had an ezSupporter account, the bill would be $0. Perhaps this is already the case, but I think that would be a good thing to emphasize when it's time to refill the warchest. $12 is a pittance, and especially if some people give more than that, it'd probably be more cost effective to take $12 out of the donation and use it to become a supporter instead. edit: I was just over on the ez supporter page, and there's a ridiculously simple solution to all of this (at least for a year or 2). They have a bunch of offers that you can do (several are free trials) to get a membership for a year. So if everyone would just go try out Netflix for 2 weeks, we have no bill for a year...
  11. Add Weeks into that and you got.... Weeks, Lyle, Lee, Jenks, and Prince. If that doesn't make you frowth at the mouth, nothing will. Yeah. Sigh. If we ever find a stud 3b, this team is going to be s-i-c-k.
  12. I was just imagining Lyle, Lee, Jenks, and Prince in the same batting order. That would be ridiculous. Obviously it doesn't quite work defensively, barring a Jenks shift to CF, but it's fun to think about.
  13. Does anyone have access to a boxscore? It's up on the official site now..
  14. - people who purchase the $12 ezSupporter per year membership's page views do not count against our total... so if you are here frequently, it would help Brewerfan out a tremendous deal if you decided to do so. Is it accurate to say, then, that it would be better for those of use who are on here a lot to pay them the $12 than to give it directly to you for the yearly/biyearly bill? If everyone who visited the forums was a supporter, would you then have a bill of $0?
  15. Prince's homeruns make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
  16. Now I'm confused about DD's pitching today. Here's what the latest notes say: "Davis also had success, pitching five innings and allowing one run on five hits and one walk while notching six strikeouts." So it went from 3 hits no runs 5 K's, to that. Am i confused?
  17. Just another note about Davis: He allowed THREE, count em three hits through 5 innings, and one of those was the misplay by Hall. Me likey
  18. Someone has been on vacation the last nine days. What, you think that's some kind of excuse??http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif (the nickname is from last year, btw)
  19. I'm out of the loop....why is Overbay called Nintendo? Someone hasn't bothered to read the last three game threads.
  20. wow, they talking about Clancy? Yes indeed http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  21. McCalvy in, talking about the minors game: -DD real sharp -Hall misplayed a ball in cf, started in + went over his head, rest of game fine -Spivey 1-3, 3BB, all full count walks (in "true minor league fashion", was HBP in 1st AB, mad about it, Ned said "Go up there and hit again", + drew walk http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif) -Hall ok w utility role, knows needs to improve, good attitude -Rogers may be doing web diary this year
  22. Helling stinks. Yeah, pretty much.
