    another big crowd that will maybe go home disappointed... Atleast our offense gets their "cue" early tonight... I'd say Atlanta's Staff is a tad better than Cincy's though

    agreed Peavey, that was one of the worst calls i've seen in awhile... if the throw beats the runner and the defender hangs on to the ball, it should be an out... PERIOD

    Which would you rather have: 88 doubles, or 45 homers? Personally, 88 doubles in a heartbeat... especially considering that 90% of Sexson's shots were solo HRs... Right now it sure looks like we took the DBacks to the cleaners in that trade....

    I'm heading down to the game again today. Hopefully they can finish the sweep. I went the last night's game with my fiancee at the last minute, a few observations. Aside from the two home runs, Obermueller looked really good. The highlight of the first five innings was in the bottom of the second inning when an usher got drilled in the family jewels by a foul ball. Otherwise, I was impressed by Overbay's plate appearances, and Luis V's domination throwing strikes... Kolb looked good an its too bad there were only 10K fans there... go crew

    how anyone can be defending Wes helms is beyond me. -------------------------- I wonder if Peavey had the misfortune of the State of Georgia's Educational System....

    Maybe.... but the throw was there... a difficult play yes, but GOOD CATCHERS make that play. The throw was there... A high school catcher maybe doesn't make that play, but a guy making millions of dollars better... IMHO< Bennett is a wimp and afraid to get hit That said, good win by the crew today. Ugly game, but we WON!

    cut him now... that guy BLOWS! perfect throw and our idiot catcher misses the throw... if we lose by a run its ALL BENNETT's FAULT and he should be cut....
