    Is all you guys do is look at ERA? Linebrink's era 10 days ago- 2.48 He has had 2 bad outings. COL- 4 ER in 0.2 NYM- 3 ER in 1.0 Other than those 2 here was his stats 6-30 FLA 1 IP 2 K 0 ER 7-2 FLA 1 IP 1 ER 7-4 FLA 1 IP 0 ER 7-7 ATL 1 IP 0 ER 7-14 ARI 1 1 ER 7-15 ARI 1 IP 0 ER 7-16 NYM 1 IP 0 ER 7-18 NYM 1 IP 3 ER 7-22 PHI 1 IP 0 ER 7-23 COL 0.2 IP 4 ER besides those 2 outings he only gave up 1 ER in 2 outings. How is that bad? Someone please explain,

    My thoughts Linebrick career ERA- 3.19 All 3 minor league pitchers havent pitched in the majors. Enough said. We are in a pennat race, we dont need prospects anymore. We are usually the ones selling players now were adding proven veterans. Please get over it.

    Dye has a bad splits against RHP, maybe against some tough RHP's like Zambrano, Peavy, Harang start Jenkins in those situations?

    Wouldn't you think Dye would benefit in a Brewers lineup surrounded by Braun, Fielder, Hall? White Sox is one of the worst offense's in baseball. Put Dye at inbetween Braun and Fielder. BA Rank- White Sox- 29th, Milwaukee 18th HR- White Sox- 11th, Milwaukee 2nd Runs- White Sox- 23rd, Milwaukee 10th Hits- White Sox- 30th, Milwaukee 18th. Every catagory Milwaukee's offense is better. Weeks Braun Dye Fielder Hart Hall Hardy Estrada Or you can go Weeks Dye Braun Fielder Hall Hart Hardy Estrada That way they wont walk Dye and have to face Braun with men on base.

    It would be Gwynn Jr for Otsuka and Dye and Floyd for Turnbow, Irrabaean, and a AA prospect.

    Could a change of teams be a thing he needs? I would give a chance and trade for Dye. Jenkins can come off the bench, ship Mench to someone for RP.

    Balfour Spurling Villanueva Cordero Those were your options. Spurling just got lit up his last outing 5 earned runs in 1/3 of a inning. Cordero just pitched on Sunday and were in a stretch of 7 games 6 day stretch. Your not going to bring him in a tie game. Villanueva- Since July 1st he pitched 13 innings and gave up 11 earmed runs. He has a 7.62 ERA since July 1st. He also just pitched on Sunday.

    Harang is 10-2 with a 3.45 era. He is one of the most underrated pitchers in the game. His fastball is about 93 and the slider is un-hittable calling him medicore is one of the most insane things I have heard. Maybe Braun just had a good night and the rest didnt?

    All the rumors are updated. Why would the Pirates want Glaus and what do you think of someone like Joe Kennedy from the A's? Renteria for Garland is a decent trade for both teams also.
