  1. i will bet. 85-90 wins they will have.
  2. 2 hits on a guy who was 0-10 with a 6.00 era, could you see the brewers making a trade for a bat in the outfiled before the deadline?
  3. We need a LF. Adam Dunn or Jermaine Dye will be good.
  4. CoCo Crisp? Wern't we going after him in the off-season?
  5. First game of a doubleheader Pitching matchups MIL: LHP Manny Parra (0-0, 3.86 ERA) His fastball touches 93 mph, and he has impressed Yost with an ability to throw that pitch, plus a slider and a changeup, for strikes. Parra, coming off several years of injury issues, made only four Triple-A starts before his promotion, but one of them was a perfect game. STL: RHP Brad Thompson (6-4, 4.93 ERA) The right-hander learned a valuable lesson on Sunday. He can survive without his bread-and-butter sinker being sharp. He wouldn't want to have to do it every game, but it's nice to know it's there. Player to watch Left fielder Geoff Jenkins is hitting .326 in day games, with six of his 13 home runs. On television ? WMLW 41 ? FSN ? DirecTV Channel 658 On radio ? WTMJ 620 GO BREWERS! (Found an edit that spells Manny's name correctly - hawing) (Added DirecTV oddball channel information - 1992)
  6. I am doing a blog where I discuss the latest rumors, trades completed and much more. Please comment on it and look it over here is the link: http://traderumorcity.wordpress.com/
  7. Good job brewers nice win, also nice debut by Linebrink. Player of the game= Claudio Vargas.
  8. Cubs= luckiest team on earth.
  9. I heard he may be headed to CHC for Sean Gatthanger and Matt Murton.
  10. Could the brewers be the third team? http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7065740
  11. This has to be a bigger deal, if it wasnt why is it taking so long to make a trade for a PTBNL?
  12. That may be because SDP is in a playoff race? Also there were rumors of Dye for Turnbow and a prospect. I would do that if I were melvin depending on the prospect.
  13. Some brewers take on the trade http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070726&content_id=2110524&vkey=news_mil&fext=.jsp&c_id=mil
  14. Padres players reaction to the trade http://sandiego.padres.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20070725&content_id=2109091&vkey=news_sd&fext=.jsp&c_id=sd
  15. We cant have Jenkins and Mench playing LF. Here are some OF that may be available CF Shane Victorino LF Adam Dunn RF Ken Griffey Jr CF Aaron Rowand RF Jermaine Dye What one of the 5 would you want and do you want to see another bat added?
  16. In 2006 Linebrink had a 6.08 ERA, this year's he cmpares the exact same ERA wise. In than finished August and Septemember with around 3.00 ERA. July numbers 2005- 4.32 ERA Season: Home: 3.31 ERA Road: 0.66 ERA 2006- 6.08 ERA Season: Home: 3.19 ERA Road: 3.92 ERA So yes he has struggled but when he was considered one of the best set-up man in baseball he struggled in July and had a outstanding 0.66 ERA on the Road. I also dont consider 30 years old for a relief pitcher.
  17. Per mlbtraderumors.com Good luck to Brady Clark. (updated title; added tags --1992)
  18. Only 1 person? All predictions must be submitted by midnight tommorow.
  19. My options now Trade Otsuka for Gwynn JR Trade Turnbow and a prospect for Dye C: Estrada/Miller 1B: Fielder/ Graffinino 2B: Weeks/ Graffinino/ Counsel 3B: Braun/ Counsel SS: Hardy/ Graffinino LF: Hart/ Jenkins CF: Hall/ Gross RF: Dye/ Mench Closer: Cordero Set Up: Otsuka 7th Inning: Linebrink 6th inning: Villanoeva Thoughts?
  20. Gallarado was on the level of Philip Hughes, Homer Bailey type pitchers. Braun was picked 5th or 6th in the draft where Ryan Zimmerman and Alex Gordon were drafted. Inman is not a top prospect like those two were.
  21. Last 3 years his road numbers were better than home numbers.
  22. I can't believe everyone hates this deal. What has Innman, Thratcher proved in the majors? Absoutley nothing, what has Linebrink proved in the majors? 3.19 career ERA, best set up man in the baseball last year and two years ago. He had a 2.45 era within the last 10 games. 2 BAD outings made his ERA jump from 2.45-3.80. Face it where in the pennat race and we have no need for prospects anymore. The time is now.
  23. Also Linebrink's road splits were tremendous the last 3 years. Also how much of the last 2 outings have been effected because his wife is having a baby? Maybe he has other things on his mind.
