  1. 2006 Cecil Cooper pinstripe - no box on this one, but perfect condition - $10 2008 Prince Fielder NIB with stub - $20 $5 to ship them or you can pick up. Might have a couple more in a few days. Also have some auto cards. The ones pictured are the exact ones I've got. They're all in outstanding condition. Make a respectable offer. 2007 Rickie Weeks Sweet Spot Signatures - glove 2007 Bowman Sterling Gallardo Rookie Auto 2007 Braun Bowman's Best Rookie Auto 2008 Villanueva Topps Highlight http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/27616215cad4581f261085995d64be2b7bb6a8bf.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/d2016611c1df581f2ee2918882c3adc4ee78d9bd.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/fe736db8113fc838d0ca5d7d1736203d4d6a043a.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/53b36bc91d2ec872d4485dc9187a248ba067fafd.jpg
  2. I'm guessing a lot of people will pickup. And if not, a lot of people will likely buy more than one.
  3. When I saw the Cowboys team set last year I thought it sucked they didn't make one for GB. I love it.
  4. Some pretty cool stuff. Two new Favres and a team set featuring Rodgers at quarterback. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/1d436dec1829c04adcfb5b631e1e2c396bff3db8.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/985368331d83c1c2d9f75f52138e24099e36adb1.jpghttp://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/b1316612ced559192322e051e00d203b554100b1.jpg They come out September this year.
  5. Make an offer to my inbox, I'm interested.
  6. Watch him pull a Michael Jordan/Roger Clemens/Vinny Testaverde and cancel all the auctions in three days.
  7. Just get her a Mickey Mouse bobblehead.
  8. If you don't mind me asking, why are you parting with the collection? Not that I'm complaining. I've been looking for some of the less expensive ones for a very long time.
  9. Wow. You're going to rake.
  10. It's not 10 games into the season, it's several years into his career. And I don't see him as a substantially better player than he was four years ago. I get the Schmidt thing, but you cannot compare a guy who had his heyday in the 70s and 80s with someone who started in 2003. And even if you tried, Schmidt was successful with a relatively low BA because of everything else he did ... stuff Weeks doesn't do. No matter how you slice it, the comparison simply doesn't work.
  11. Dude, he's not gonna be Mike Schmidt. Not ever. BA aside, there are about six other things Schmidt did better than Weeks ever will. You can start with his glove.
  12. Braun also hit .324 to Weeks' .235. He hit 34 bombs and knocked in 97 runs. And this was in 40 more at-bats. In his rookie year. C'mon man, some of your arguments are ridiculous. (pared back long nested quote; also, please avoid ad hominem condescension-1992)
  13. He's turns 26 in September. And if his career ended for some reason right now, he would almost certainly be considered a bust. Just because you're better than Dave Krynzel, doesn't mean you're legit. To the poster who mentioned Mike Schmidt; I don't even know where to begin with that asinine comparison. First of all, Weeks career BA is 20 points lower. Second, the eras are COMPLETELY different. Schmidt played in a time with a lot less offense. He was an 11-time All-Star and 8-time Gold Glover. He was a lock for 30 bombs and hit 548 for his career ... and this was in an era that wasn't nearly as offense-friendly.
  14. As you can tell by the handle, it pains me to say this. But this guy has not done anything to warrant all the fanfare and hype. I know there are stats you can dig up to show his so-called effectiveness, but the fact is he is approaching 1,200 at-bats and is hitting under .250. I know we're only 10 games in, but it just doesn't look like he is any different. He's still making bad outs and swinging at a lot of garbage. And that's when he's actually able to stay healthy. Don't forget that this guy was supposed to be THE pick of our farm squad. He was the safest prospect, ahead of Hardy, Fielder, Gwynn, etc. He is easily the biggest disappointment of the crop. He's going on 26 this year and doesn't look any better (and sometimes looks worse) than he did when he came up for Spivey. He shows flashes every now and then, but flashes aren't going to cut it. The #2 overall pick isn't supposed to play like Geoff Jenkins. .245 and 15 homers are not acceptable numbers for what he's supposed to be. Is this guy really any better than a Mark DeRosa type? I'm starting to think he isn't. And please don't throw the "P" word in there. Seriously. Enough of that. He gets on base a lot. I understand that. But OBP is not a BA, and OBP is not something makes a player great. If Weeks is to live up to his billing, he needs to produce in every facet of the game. He hasn't done that up to this point. I guess what I don't understand is why no one talks about it. People get on Prince for not hitting a home run in the first 10 games, after hitting 50 a year ago. People get on Braun for the errors and JJ for being generally sluggish ... but I never hear anyone mutter a bad word about Weeks. In my opinion, he hasn't shown himself to be half the player any of the other young guns have. It would be a relief to see him match JJ Hardy's production. Something is wrong with that.
  15. $168.49 Pretty impressive.
  16. What did the Brauns look like?
  17. I am curious to know exactly how this works. One game starts at 4 and the next one is at 8. Do they make the fans leave after game one? Do you need a ticket for each game? Seems like the games are awfully close together to try and force that. Also, obviously this won't happen given that it's a weekday game in Texas, but if they are not requiring two tickets ... What would happen if game one was a near sell-out, and game two was also? Obviously they would run into some issues.
  18. Haha ... now I'm curious, how do they ruin it for everyone?
  19. I already have this bobble but I know a lot of people are looking for it. Auction ends tomorrow. Link
  20. OK, first I'll list what I have available: 2001 Ichiro - no box 2006 Cecil Cooper Pinstripe Uniform - no box 2007 Prince Fielder Huntsville Stars 2007 Prince Fielder Beloit Snappers 2007 Rickie Weeks White Home Uniform 2008 Prince Fielder White Home Uniform These are NIB unless noted otherwise. What I'm looking for: Don't need any Brewers SGAs. What I am interested in is expanding my collection. Usually I get offers for hockey bobbles or Bucks bobbles, but sorry I'm just not interested. I really only want Brewers or Packers related stuff. I am open to trading for something other than bobbles. BUT, I would like more bobbleheads. I'm interested in: 2003 Fielder Snappers (Yeah I know) Gantner Woodchucks Thomas Woodchucks Jenkins Stockton Ports Sheffield Stockton Ports Mr. 3000 Snappers Brad Nelson Huntsville Dave Krynzel Patriotic Snappy Cecil Cooper Indianapolis Indians Altoona Curve Dale Svuem Indianapolis Indians "Rowdy" Mascot 2002 Beloit Snappers Don Money High Desert Mavericks "Wooly Bully" Mascot 2002 Beloit Snappers "Snappy" Mascot Missoula Osprey Lyle Overbay Indianapolis Indians Ben Sheets Buffallo Bisons Richie Sexson Greenville Braves Hank Aaron Oklahoma City Redhawks Kevin Mench Tucson Sidewinders Junior Spivey Lancaster Jethawks Jim Slaton 2004 Beloit Snappers Don Money Birmingham Barons Rollie Fingers Frisco Roughriders Laynce Nix Billings Mustangs Rob Dibble Huntsville Stars Ben Sheets Stockton Ports Ben Sheets Tulsa Drillers Scott Podsednik I'm also interested in the Forever series. I have the four Big Heads and the four minis of Fielder-Braun-Hart-Hardy from last year. I'm interested in any Forever bobbles of Brewers or Packers. I can trade multiples for rare ones or add cash. Let me know if you are interested. I'm also lacking in Sheets stuff. I don't have his auto. I'd trade for autos too.
  21. It was some little kid that tore them down. I think I remember he spit on them too. I've been to players lot before, but I don't really go there all the time. I try to make it when I have enough time though.
  22. Yeah I was there early. I was there when that dude came and put those two pieces of paper on the fence saying he was first in line, then left.
  23. I would just like to say that IMO, it makes no difference if you are going back to get extras to sell, or just for the hell of it, or just to get them for your collection ... cheating the system is cheating the system. People that do that are most likely screwing someone out of a bobble. And it's kind of pathetic.
  24. I was at the game did not see it, can anyone tell me what Sheets said?
  25. It seems that every time Bill Hall steps into the box with the bases loaded or 2 out and RISP he takes three hacks and grabs a seat on the bench.
