    Season's over. With Vargas gone the Brewers have no depth. Good luck finding another pitcher with a 5+ run ERA. Might as well just cut Fielder and Braun now. Without a mediocre long reliever/ 5-spot starter, the Brewers are doomed. Guy like Claudio Vargas come along only once every decade.

    I buy on eBay all the time. You just need to be smart about it. LOTF sells on eBay too you know ... they rip you off on shipping, but stuff still sells WAY below their store price.

    LOTF might sell things high but when you buy from there you are guaranteed an authentic item. Aside from getting the bat signed myself, there isn't another company I'd trust before LOTF. And that includes any PSA/DNA sig. My point is, a bat from LOTF should be worth more than a bat from Joe Schmoe on eBay ... and they DO sell for more than the generic dealers. There's a reason for that.

    I agree on the incorrect name. Probably helps the value. Plus, this card will be worth a ton ... because JJ is such a hottie.

    Some people have odd tastes. $200+ for a game used jersey and pants really isn't that hard for me to believe, especially when it's a very rare uniform like the Bears. I think it's legit. Plus, all the bidders have a high number of transactions, which makes it very unlikely that it's a shill situation.

    I'm not really big into cards, but I got my hands on a Braun rookie auto that I would like to have graded. I checked out BGS, but quite frankly their directions are so mangled and all over the place, I have no clue how to go about the process or how much it will cost. So basically, how do you go about getting it done, and how much is it going to cost? I have some others too, a Fielder, Villanueva, Weeks and Gallardo, all are autos that were pulled ... how much would it cost?

    BHF, were you being sarcastic about Duensing? I sort of know who he is but I don't pay much attention to the minors. I don't really know what he's been up to. Does he have a bright future (would it be worth getting his bobble)?

    Yeah ... I'm gonna have to call my brothers or dad and divide and conquer on June 1. I'll probably go to Beloit and send somebody to Milwaukee.

    All Sundays - June 1 - Yovani Gallardo July 20 - Brian Duensing August 3 - Rickie Weeks Those of you keeping score will realize that the Brewers are giving out the Ryan Braun bobbles on the same day of the Gallardo bobblehead. Tough break for collectors.
