  1. Gotcha. This arguement has taken place over such a long period of time I hardly remember what we were even arguing about. We'll just call it a wash. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. I don't know where you got that from. I never implied that.
  3. 2006 OPS Carlos Lee - .867 Gabe Gross - .858 Not saying Gross is as good as Carlos, especially since Gross rarely gets an AB vs. a lefty, but still you can't ignore the season Gross is having.
  4. A .757 OPS for a corner OF isn't anything special. Thats not to say Cabrera is a terrible player, he gets on base a decent amount and can hit for average. He just has no pop, which should change as he gets older.
  5. I'm just saying, Gross and Clark aren't nearly as bad as people seem to think they are. In fact, Gross is having a darn good year, and Clark is doing a great job of getting on base.
  6. The Yankees would have killed to have Gross or Clark in the OF instead of Bubba Crosby and Melky Cabrera.
  7. No...just AAA for a few more years.
  8. Gwynn had a .763 OPS in the minors this year which is his highest OPS ever in the minors. Hitting .400 in 15 major league AB's doesn't make you a good hitter.
  9. Nevermind...
  10. Yeah I'm using firefox and am having the same issue. None of the graphics on this site are showing up.
  11. Does David Bell do anything but GIDP. We might as well just call up Chad to play 3B.
  12. An 8 pitch first inning from Davis, thats a shocker.
  13. Those type of games don't seem to be our forte.
  14. Yeah, they mentioned that in the scouting report I posted.
  15. Milwaukee Brewers Tomo Ohka - (3-1, 2.94) http://arizona.diamondbacks.mlb.com/images/2005/09/15/XzkScWlc.jpg Ohka's Splits vs. Colorado The right-hander was "not sharp" in his own estimation during his most recent start against the Reds. Still, the team has been encouraged by Ohka's starts since he returned from a shoulder injury that kept him on the disabled list for more than two months. He's 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA in three starts, with 15 strikeouts and six walks in 18 innings (MLB.com) @ Colorado Rockies Byung-Hyun Kim - (6-6, 4.87) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f88/JoeH33/bkkim.jpg Kim's Splits vs. Milwaukee It was the longest outing of his career and it was a darn good one. Kim lasted 7 2/3 innings and gave up only an unearned run on five hits in his last start. He had his fastball working and was unhittable for much of the night. He tied the Rockies club record by striking out five straight batters and had seven total. For the third time this season, he didn't give up a run at Coors, where he will again pitch Wednesday. 16. You must be questioning what team your even watching out there. Who'd have thought David Bell would be starting at 3B for the Crew? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  17. Maybe Ned just wants to lose his job. Is Bobby Cox still going to be around next year.
  18. You have no idea how happy I'd be if we found a way to get Russ back. There was nothing funnier than the K's suck arguements we had here.
  19. I wish we could acquire Brad Hawpe, he's the player Geoff Jenkins should be.
  20. Philly fans weren't lying when they said we'd have fun watching Bell constantly hit into DP's.
  21. Are the planets aligned or something...?? Jenkins just got a hit!
  22. This game looks like it has the makings of another snoozer. I'm feeling a 5-1 Rockies win, with Bill Hall hitting a 9th inning solo shot.

  24. Milwaukee Brewers Dave Bush - (6-8, 4.95) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f88/JoeH33/davebush.jpg Bush's Splits vs. Colorado Bush will make his first start since July 22 when the Brewers and Rockies continue a series at Coors Field. Bush has appeared twice in relief since his last start (0-1, 16.88 ERA) but has produced 12 quality starts this year. (MLB.com) @ Colorado Rockies Josh Fogg - (7-5, 4.56) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060723/capt.c5e70be2eaeb400a824cb0c7fdb29366.rockies_diamondbacks_baseball_pnc104.jpg Fogg's Splits vs. Milwaukee Fogg struggled mightily in his last start, giving up three home runs, six runs and nine hits in four innings against the Padres. But the Rockies' offense bailed him out in a 9-8, 10-inning victory. Fogg struck out five, but on a night hwne he could not get hitters off his changeup he struggled. Fogg, however, has given up three or fewer runs in 10 of his last 13 starts.
