  1. A three pitch strikeout to start the game....thats always promising.
  2. Settle down there big fella'. This is a Brewers message board. Of course people are going to question a funky lineup.
  3. Nothing fancy from me today. http://www.sportsteams.com/acbnet/stores/1/images/MLB/LOGOS/MilwaukeeBrewers.jpg @ http://www.sportsteams.com/acbnet/stores/1/images/MLB/LOGOS/ArizonaDiamondbacks.jpg Don't Lose......or I'll be pissed.

  5. I know seeing Cappy there would have been kinda fun, but c'mon now. Hoffman has what, the second or third most saves all time? You gotta go with him there.
  6. Hey now he's a baseball analyst for a major sports network. You're telling me they hire idoits? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif What did he say now?
  7. Why is Renteria batting before Wright? Doesn't make much sense to me.
  8. You would think so, but don't forget who's still managing the Cubs.
  9. Prince is having a very Molleresque July. .074 AVE .143 OPS
  10. Jackson was playing with fire there.
  11. How about ZJack gives Zombrano a little payback and hits a jack of his own.
  12. The D-Train just hit a grand slam.
  13. It doesn't look like we'll have a chance at picking up another game on Cinci. They're already up 6-0 in the second inning. edit: make that 8-0
  14. How about that for a big "screw you" to Garner/Fans for not selecting him for the ASG.
  15. Cappy also had a CG, five hit shutout at Wrigley this year. He only threw 91 pitches that game. Tonights game is almost an exact replica of that game, except we scored 9 off Z in April. LINK
  16. Our bullpen should be thanking Cappy. A day after the entire pen had to be used, Cappy looks like he'll throw a CG shutout while throwing less than 100 pitches. (82 through 8)
  17. What do you mean? He has a .399 OBP vs. lefties......Oh sorry...my bad...thats his OPS.
  18. Cirillo reminds me a lot of Scott Hatteberg at this point. Two crusty vets who most people left for dead, but are having incredible years. The edge has to go to Hatty since he's a full time player (with an OPS over .900), but Cirillo's also putting together a great year as a backup.
  19. Game threads never seem to be that busy until the mid to late innings.
  20. A successful sac bunt on the first try. Thats something you dont see much around here.
  21. Have to like that Houston/St. Louis matchup. No matter who wins its good for us.
  22. 25 pitches through three innings. Not bad.
  23. Some very untimely hitting being displayed by the Crew so far tonight.
  24. Anyone else find it cool that on MLB.com's home page they have this title for the Brewers/Cubs game. "Capuano Shifts Focus to Trying to Sweep Cubs"
