  1. Houston now down 3-0 to the Tigers, now every NL central team besides us is losing.
  2. I know I've complained about Gross getting playing time over Hart, but Gross is actually starting to impress me. I know he's only had limited AB's this season, but he's sportin' a nice .879 OPS and is just as solid as Brady defensively.
  3. You and Peter Brown seem to have a lot in common, you're really not "facts guys" 2005 Stats AVG OBP SLG OPS Carlos Lee .265 .324 .487 .811 Geoff Jenkins .292 .375 .513 .888
  4. You could have said the same thing about CLee backers last year. The whole Jenks crowd vs. Lee crowd thing here is stupid though. Why can't you support both guys, they're both Brewers support them all.
  5. The Cubs should really look into acquiring Carlos, he could hit 100 HR for them if he played in Wrigley all year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. Zach Jack is just crusing along. If he can put a bunch of scoreless innings together here I think it could really be a benefit to him, a real confidence booster.
  7. Clemens is dealing tonight. Six scoreless innings with a pitch count of 66! Also KC has stormed back with 5 runs in the 5th and 6th innings to take a 6-5 lead over Cincinnati.
  8. It wasn't pretty, but manufacturing runs is always a good thing, especially against a guy like Zambrano.
  9. Man Rickie really needs to get it going, he's hitting .228 this month.
  10. Good job by Zach there not to lose Nevin after going 3-0.
  11. Prince really seems to like hitting in Wrigley.
  12. Nice 1-2-3 inning for Zach Jack there

  14. He was a 115 pitches and had a chance at a complete game shutout. A lot of managers would have left him out there.
  15. C'mon, you gotta give the guy a shot at back to back complete game shutouts vs. the Cubs. Edit: ok now you can pull him
  16. Well its a light day in baseball so BBTN should give the Crew a little coverage.
  17. Man if only Sheets wasn't still out, a Sheets/Cappy 1-2 punch in the rotation would be beautiful.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  18. IMO Hart will be a solid major leaguer, Cruz will be a 4th OF type, and Gwynn is at best a 4th OF on a bad team. edit: my fantasy team thanks you Prince!
  19. Pitchers can pitch more than 100 pitches a game, its not that big of a deal. It only becomes a problem when your pitchers are throwing ~125 pitches on a semi-regular basis. If Ned decides to let Cappy get a shot at a CG shutout, placing Chris at approx. 125-130 pitches, it wouldn't be a huge deal since its not like this is regular occurance for him.
  20. Thanks Gabe, now Corey's going to have a tough time getting out in the field.
  21. This has to be the best game of Nefi's career.
  22. Yeah I checked out that article a little while ago too, the Pistons/Pacers brawl is always fun to watch. That Broncos/Patriots game highlights were interesting too, its crazy how the Pats totally got screwed out of that game by the officials. I guess what goes around comes around though. (See Raiders/Pats 2003)
  23. Thats funny, the planets aligned and Nefi got on base for DLee...and he grounds into a DP.
  24. That was disappointing. Felt like the 04 Brewers, men on 1st and 3rd and we get zilch.
