  1. Nice to see Carlos taking the ball to the opposite field.
  2. Phew! Obie was playing with fire there. It feels like we should be up by like 4 runs already but a little slap hit by Loretta would have tied it. C'mon guys lets get some runs, Obie's gonna need them.
  3. Great AB by Damian there! Leadoff man on for the second straight inning now.
  4. So far so good for Obie (25 pitches through 2 innings)
  5. Well alot of times people come in late to Sat. night games because they start at 6 instead of 7. If that does turn out to be all that are at the game though thats pretty weak.
  6. That's frustrating, bases loaded no outs and we only get one!?
  7. Eh....at least we got one from Jenks there. Alright Billy get the rest of these guys in!
  8. Blah weak stuff Carlos......Jenks will come through though.
  9. Nice to see Overbay taking alot of walks the past couple of days (raise that OPS http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif ). Bases loaded for Carlos and he's been locked on the past few days....GS anyone??http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  10. Man thats the 3rd infield hit by Rickie in the past 2 games! Now lets get these guys in!
  11. Gotta stop walking people Obie...not a good sign. Edit: didnt come back to bite him though
  12. For some reason, I have a really good feeling about this game, even though Obie is pitching. I think we keep the hot bats going and win this one 8-4.
  13. Thoughts/positives about the game Lyle Overbay - 1/2 with 2BB, RBI Hopefully this is a sign of things to come in Sept. He's taking pitches and hitting the ball to the opposite field, both of which lead to success for Lyle Carlos Lee - 1/2 HR, BB, 2 RBI Carlos fufilled the 30/100 expectations we had for him coming into this season. Also Carlos just missed another HR which would have been a 3-run shot. Great to see him all over the ball again. Rickie Weeks- 2/3, 2 RBI, BB Taking the ball to the opposite field almost every AB and drawing a walk are good signs that he'll be busting out of his slump here. Also great to see him leg out a few IF singles. JJ Hardy- 1/3, 2 RBI, BB, SF JJ was staying hot and hit the ball hard almost every AB. Sac fly was out to the warning track. Geoff Jenkins- 1/4, GS, 4 RBI Apparently that back isnt hurting too bad stay hot Geoff, stay hot! Hopefully this game is not just an aberration but a sign of things to come this September!
  14. Alright, this is like the third time I've said this now in the game thread, but lets get Prince in there! There's no point in leaving Lyle in there.
  15. Well Carlos didnt miss that time! Its great to see him all over the ball again though, just a few feet from having a 2-2 BB, 2HR, 5 RBI night. Now that we're up 9-0 lets get Prince in there!
  16. If we're still winning by 5+ runs after say the 6th inning I'd love to see Prince get some time at 1B
  17. Ugly baserunning by Olivo there, I'll take the DP though!
  18. What? A Geoff Jenkins Grand Slam? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Too bad this is on a Friday night when everyone's out and not watching the game.
  19. Just a couple feet from being a 3-0 lead.....and then Carlos K's
  20. Nice catch by JJ there, still Corey should have had that. He looks uncomfortable out in center.

  23. What a frustrating loss! From being one pitch away from getting to Turnbow, and then hitting what should have been a walkoff HR....At least we're only 4 under, although it feels more like tenhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif
  24. Agreed, I wish I knew what Ned was thinking on this one, it just makes no sense. Ned's been doing this to JJ all season now...
