  1. That's what I saw, as well. He's in a funk. He just needs a few days off to collect himself. I think he'll right the ship, so to speak, but he's really pressing right now. He's a black hole in the middle of our lineup at the moment.
  2. I realize we're missing Braun, but this offense is putting me to sleep. We had a little splash last night, and early today, but since then it's been more of the same. I can only watch Aramis Ramirez make an out so many more times before my head explodes. Why can't RR see he needs a few days off? Pretty please, Ron? Start Reynolds at third, especially against a righty. We need a power bat in the lineup. Have to rely on the bullpen to close this out, as it looks like we're not scoring any more runs.
  3. Am I reading this right? Gomez is 2 for 2 with a HR, a 2 run single and 3 walks? Wow. Nice to see Segura warming up. Of course, it's because I dropped him from my fantasy team. He should go on a tear now.
  4. I'm just waiting for Garza to say "I should have won 10 more games this year in Milwaukee." I'm sorry, but between those comments, and his dissing Eric Sogard last year for not "being able to shut there woman up", I think Matt Garza is a tool.
  5. Wily Peralta's stats over his last 23 starts, back to June 21st of last year. Current through the 7th inning tonight. http://imageshack.com/a/img841/5442/sp8e.png
  6. Wily has matured. Last year, Wily would have lost Bruce there. That offspeed pitch was nasty. Slider, I think.
  7. LMAO That we beat the Cardinals with this lineup! LMAO! 20-7!!!!!
  8. Bunt schmunt! LOL. If we beat the Red Birds with our High A lineup....in St. Louis, I'm going to die laughing.
  9. Khris Davis coming up big again in extra innings! Can we get him in?
  10. Braun prefers to hit the ball out of the park instead of walking. He might strike out over 100 times a year, but he's also got a career .312 average, and .374 OBP. Pretty good eye and bat discipline if you ask me.
  11. Woo hoo! 18-6, and ESPN will have our game at the 55 minute mark of their hour long Sportscenter.
  12. Ya, I think so. I wish I could recommend MLB.tv. If they fix the technical issues, it's great.
  13. Buy Brewers tickets with the cash! I live outside of Dallas, Texas, and the Brewers don't come to Arlington this year. Plus, I'm disabled because of my back and left leg, so there's no way I could sit through a 3 hour game and the drive both ways from Lewisville to Arlington. I have MLB.tv, so I can watch all the games from the comfort of my bedroom...assuming MLBAM gets the darned broadcast fixed. It's 22 + games into the season, and it's still stuttering, freezing, skipping, etc. At times, the game is unwatchable right now. They keep telling us they're working on the problem.
  14. Evening, guys. I want to ask you all. Is my laptop on the fritz? It says that Lyle Overbay just hit a homerun. That can't be. BTW, extra happy tonight. I just got $850.00 in the mail today from the State of Texas comptroller for lost money that I was owed. Refund from college, a partial refund from physical therapy for being overbilled by the insurance company, and an overpayment of rent from an old apartment I lived in. Nice little bump for the weekend! You all need to google state comptroller, or unclaimed money for the state(s) you've lived in. I found my dad $650, too. Good chance the state treasury dept is holding some money for you somewhere.
  15. I didn't. I knew it right away. But then I read a lot of baseball history. A lot. To clarify, I did not cheat with my guess, I cheated by confirming there was not a previous player I kinda figured that you probably guessed Williams right off the bat. After I said Sheffield, I had to go back to look if anybody else had won a batting title before him. Thankfully, my instincts were correct. It never ceases to amaze me what former Brewer players go on to accomplish with other teams. Surhoff became an All Star. Vaughn hits 50 bombs. Sheffield puts up a Triple Crown-like season the first season after leaving Milwaukee with the Padres. Molitor gets even better. Dante Bichette, though greatly aided by the thin air of Colorado, becomes a real power hitter (look at his 1995 splits, though. 31 home runs at Coors Field, 9 on the road ). I'd love to see that kind of a bump in performance when a player comes to Milwaukee for a change.
  16. I have to believe the official scorer will change that, brewcrewdue80.
  17. Woo hoo!!!! Hello, win column! K Rod 9 for 9 in save ops! Brewers win!!!!!! Is this the game that gets Jean and Krush going? I am so happy, I am going to do a happy dance. My fantasy team hit .536 tonight, too.
  18. My God, Thornburg really wants to be an All Star this year. 0.73 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, 12 Ks in 12.1 IP. Wow!
  19. That was a NASTY changeup! Way to go, KRod! 1 more to go!!!!
