  1. And Devin has 3 options... Options shouldnt matter, it's building the best 8 man bullpen... Cousins is one of the best options we have.
  2. Not sure how Cousins isnt a lock... Dude is a damn good pitcher. I see Guerra, B Wilson, Milner, Small, Payamps and Varland battling it out for last spots.
  3. Agreed, the competition is between Naquin and Taylor but I see a platoon with both in RF.
  4. I'm really excited about Strzelecki, Cousins and Varland... I believe they can be nice pieces in our pen... All throw hard and big strikeouts.
  5. With the Naquin and Voit signings, I dont see either making the team now... Hiura will be traded and Brosseau will be in Nashville... Urias and Toro can play 3B when Anderson needs a day off. Really like our bench with the moves today. Caritini Voit Toro Naquin/Taylor whoever isnt in the lineup
  6. Really looking forward to Yelich and Frelick at the top of our order for years to come! Think would go Frelick, Yelich 1, 2 tho. Then Contreras, Tellez, Wiemer in the middle could be a hell of a top of the lineup!
  7. Right then Frelick takes over CF job. Might actually be a better lineup... Frelick/Yelich/Adames/Winker/Contreras/Tellez/Urias/Anderson/Taylor
  8. Agreed and I dont see any black holes in our potential OD lineup of Yelich/Adames/Winker/Contreras/Tellez/Urias/Anderson/Taylor/Mitchell.
  9. Strongly disagree on the Winker grade... Will be a A+++ like Contreras when he shows us all that he's the same hitter as before Seattle. Very excited thinking about Winker and Contreras in the middle of our lineup.
  10. And who will be playing RF? Cuz it sure as hell wont be Winker. Our OF will be: Yeli in LF, Mitchell or Frelick in CF, Taylor in RF... Taylor and Tellez are headed for breakouts this season.
  11. I'm already looking forward to 23 draft this summer, I'm really hoping we can find our 3B of the future this year.... And that dude is Yohandy Morales... Unless he has a huge year, I can see him being available at 18. He would be such a great fit for our future as we'll have Eric Brown Jr or Turang at SS, Robert Moore or Turang at 2B... Morales would look great at 3B for us for years to come... If we could find our 1B as well, that would be great! Scouting grades: Hit: 50 | Power: 60 | Run: 45 | Arm: 60 | Field: 50 | Overall: 55 The son of former Cuban National Team member Andy Morales, who played briefly in the Yankees and Red Sox systems, Yohandy Morales was a Top 200 prospect as a Florida high school standout, but wasn’t taken in the shortened 2020 Draft largely because of his commitment to the University of Miami. He stepped right into the Hurricanes’ lineup in 2021, hitting 11 homers as a freshman, then took another step forward as a sophomore, hitting 18 home runs and finishing with an OPS over 1.000 before hitting .400 for Team USA over the summer. In many ways, Morales has a similar profile to what scouts thought he might be coming out of high school. He’s an aggressive hitter looking to do damage and he does consistently barrel up the baseball, showing an ability to drive the ball to all fields. While he’s still power-over-hit, he has ironed out some of the moving parts of his swing that hurt him as a prepster, giving him a better chance to hit and get to that power. A former shortstop who outgrew the position and moved to third, Morales’ strong arm works very well from the hot corner and he has the defensive actions to stay there long-term. That combined with the power profile teams covet from infield corner types should have him in early-round conversations.
  12. Or I guess Mitchell could go back to AAA... Frelick could easily beat out Mitchell for the CF job, there's nothing guarantying the CF spot for Garrett... According to all the prospect rankings, Sal is the better player, prospect. Yelich - LF Frelick - CF Taylor - RF
  13. That would be one way to get Frelick in the OD lineup.... Frelick - LF Mitchell/Taylor - CF Yelich - RF I bet it won't happen tho.
  14. But there's also the chance Frelick/Wiemer suck in AAA, so yea we keep Winker.
  15. Thank you! TT is gonna have a breakout year as our RF vs RHP and CF vs LHP.
  16. Can we please stop with the flipping Winker talk???? If dude returns to what he was before last season and we're contending, why the hell would we trade him? I just dont understand the Winker trade talk.
  17. I just love this deal, one of the guys I wanted for 3B! I love our infield now. Tellez - 1B Urias - 2B Adames - SS Anderson - 3B Anderson is a good player, he was hurt in 21 and 22... When healthy, I know he's the player he was 18-20... Decent power, gets on base, plays good D. Yelich Adames Winker Contreras Tellez Anderson Urias Taylor Mitchell I really like that lineup as well! Now go get one of Chafin, Rosenthal, Reyes for the bullpen and this team is set and loaded!
  18. No way, he’s our starting 3B, moving Urias to 2B. Anderson has been a good player, wasnt healthy last year.
  19. Not sure the deal yet… But awesome signing! I love this move!! Urias to 2B.
  20. It wasnt just Kepler for Lopez... Sounds like Kepler + Arraez for Lopez... But Twins arent interested in dealing Luis.
  21. I would totally do Lopez for Mitchell... May need to to add more on our side tho. Pablo would be under control until thru 2024 season and I bet we would be able to extend him unlike Burnes and Woodruff. Peralta Ashby Lopez I can get behind that trio!
  22. Really hoping Brian Anderson and Trevor Rosenthal or Alex Reyes are late January/February deals...
