You would rather spend money on Bucks tickets then Brewers tickets because Gallardo gets hurt? Ok.

Remember all that pitching depth we had at the beginning of spring training? Well yeah i would say most of its gone..... Yup, Capuano on the DL still and Vargas was let go. We got Weaver and well Weaver.
  3. BrewCrewForever
Sheets, Suppan, Bush, Villanueva and Parra. It's all on you guys now, gotta get it done and stay healthy or Jeff Weaver is our next option. Gulp.

This news has just ruined a perfectly good Friday. He just looked so good this season I felt he was at the same level as Sheets as being our ace. I feel so bad for Yo, two knee surgeries in the same season. Yuck.
  5. BrewCrewForever
Better a knee injury for a pitcher then a arm injury I suppose. That is the only somewhat positive thing I can think to say about this.
  6. BrewCrewForever
This just means now more then ever Sheets has to stay healthy the rest of this season. No doubt.

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. This. Is. Awful.

I think I'm gonna be sick.

I found out about a better tirade over at bugandcranks.com you can youtube it. Just search "Earl Weaver Managers Corner". It is full of expletives so be where. But it is amazing, very funny. It's the one that is 1:45 in length.

Although Hart has played some 1B, I can't see them playing him there. He's an OF now.

I like our top three a lot: Torres, Mota and Gagne. Not too mention our nasty leftys Shouse and Stetter.

I have nothing against Gwynn, I'm a Gwynn fan. But I would like to see a lefty with power DH in the series that is why seeing Branyan or Nelson would be fine with me.

Am I correct in saying that the Saturday game will be broadcast by Fox and the Sunday game by TBS? And they will not be blacked out because these games are not on FSN?
  15. BrewCrewForever
Nothing, that's the problem. Well Gwynn did have a heck of a opening day. Can anyone really argue that? So he has done something.
  16. BrewCrewForever
If they do bring someone like Branyan or Nelson up who would they send down? Gwynn?

Speak for yourself...as a fan I root not just for the uniform or for the results--if so I should just watch simulated games on the computer--but for the people and the personalities as well. Well said, I also love certain personalities that make the players who they are.

I don't think they are done, not the way Chipper Jones is hitting the baseball. He could carry that team and they do have other offensive weapons.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Yup I to just read the blog. It is now a reality, Turnbow DFA and Dillon backup to provide another bat. Wow, a team with only 12 pitchers? How will we survive? And although McClung has been okay as of late I would still rather have Bush in our pen.
  21. BrewCrewForever
I would love to see Branyan or Nelson called up just to have another power lefty in the lineup and not have to play them in the field.
  22. BrewCrewForever
Yeah Brauny fought the Cubs fans back with his bat and not his mouth or actions. Game winning two RBI double in the 9th. Eat that Cub Fan, and stay classy throwing stuff at athletes in the field of play, MORONS.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Even though he was off to a real slow start, this still hurts my fantasy team a TON. I now have to start Felipe Lopez at SS.
  24. BrewCrewForever
What an amazing game. Just awesome, I would put this as a "Brewers Classic" for sure.
  25. BrewCrewForever
Good luck to Turnbow, somewhere else or if he can find his stuff down in AAA. Either way good for him and good for us getting another bat on the bench and Turnbow's stinkiness out of the pen.
