i dont know what people expected when we signed him. He is pitching only slightly worse than his career numbers are. I dont think we were expecting an ace. I think we were expecting more though then what he has done. More like the guy in the postseason and the guy that used to dominate us all the time.
At this point, LaPorta, Jeffress, CV the younger, Parra, and I think Gwynn should be untouchable. I agree, except for Gwynn. I like him dont get me wrong, but giving him up as part of getting Gagne is so worth it.
Id say the chances are zero. They wouldnt trade him, he just signed that deal, he has improved a lot in CF, and even though he is having a down year. It has been decent and he could have a little better numbers but was hurt for 2 1/2 weeks. He will be fine, no need to trade him. If they did I would be very pissed.
I would throw Weeks in with my dissapointed list, but I know its because he is hurt and aint right. Although Hall is my favorite player he to has been a little dissapointing. But he was also out for 2 1/2 weeks.
20fry that is outstanding! I would love to see that. Top of the 9th at MP and you hear Welcome to The Jungle as the bullpen door swings open and out walks Gagne.
