  1. I imagine the information will be available when they send out the season ticket packets in late Feb/early March.
  2. The money question is an interesting one. The Brewers offered Hart just over $6M and Doug Melvin seemed to imply they couldn't spend much more than that on him. Could be a few reasons for that; the team might be budgeting for some other signing, or maybe that's all their risk assessment of Hart's knees said they should spend, or maybe there's a spending cap coming from the top.
  3. He's a year plus removed from pitching; I wonder how much he's looking for. Can't imagine it would be anything more than a one-year "prove me" contract. I'm assuming based on the fact that so many teams are interested that they haven't been completely scared off by the medical opinions on his shoulder.
  4. $250 isn't a bad price for the Braun helmet. I saw one there for double that. I picked up the Greinke jersey on Thursday afternoon. It was a road gray from 2012. Other than that, the only thing I picked up was a score card from this game, which I was at and is one of my all-time favorite games: http://espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=300528108
  5. The Greinke jersey has been located ... in my closet. I couldn't resist picking it up at that price.
  6. My understanding is it's one per season seat (which they consider a 20-game pack or above).
  7. Announced attendance was something like 35,000. That's still a lot of bobbles sitting around their offices. Nothing I've heard or seen has yet convinced me the split was other than 50/50.
  8. I don't know, I had heard 50/50. My group of 5 was split 3/2 blue, but I guess that doesn't say much about the overall split. Edit for clarity: The game was attended by myself and four friends. I am not one of those soulless hellhounds grabbing bobbleheads left and right.
  9. PM'd Mine's stuck in outbox too. I'll take the Fielder/Hoffman/Cameron 8x10s. Would like to see a photo of the 11x14 with Greinke, Gallardo, Gomez photo and the 30 sig.
  10. Apparently that gentleman has never heard of diversification.
  11. On a related note ... ouch. http://fox6now.com/2013/07/23/fan-has-15k-worth-of-braun-memorabilia-reacts-to-suspension/?hpt=us_bn9
  12. Mark McGwire is probably the better comp, Bonds being the current holder of a lot of noteworthy records. At the height of the home run chase, McGwire rookie cards, for example, were worth hundreds of dollars. Now, you can pick them up on eBay for about $10 each. PEDs are bad for business.
  13. That being said, are his collectibles still worth anything? Like usual, it depends on what you're talking about. Game used stuff will almost certainly continue to be worth *something,* but if you bought retail, say, after his MVP campaign, you're probably going to take a bath on it right now.
  14. Braun items become much less desirable in the short term, but I don't think their long-term value is in serious jeopardy ... yet. There are going to be those people who stop collecting his stuff entirely, and those who sell off what they have. So short term, there's going to be a greater supply and less demand and that is going to impact prices. Of course, this presents a great buy-low opportunity if you think he'll recover (I'm not sure he can, but who knows). I've seen people who spent a small fortune on their Braun memorabilia. I'm glad I'm not them right now.
  15. Thought about it. But by 10:30 when I saw it, there was bound to be 150+ people already in line when I got there. Wasn't feeling those odds, and he's got another 5 years of team control.
  16. Anyone have any info on this thing? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hank-Aaron-Bobble-Head-Bobblehead-Nodder-/281106871444?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4173467494
