  1. Good luck now that like 80% of the Brewers bobbles are special tickets. Sucks they're transitioning away from the all fans.
  2. Thank you both! That'll make his day.
  3. An acquaintance of mine is looking for a bit of trivia for what I believe to be a custom bobblehead project. Does anyone know what number Prince Fielder wore in the 2004 Future Game?
  4. I still can't believe we're discussing respect for a piece of smoked sausage.
  5. I guess I get it, but with no real CoA it would be easy to pass off a regular signed one as the exclusive ticket. So if you're going to pay big bucks, I'd make sure you get a ticket, which will probably be nigh impossible as they usually get tossed.
  6. Thanks. You've got first dibs if I go that route, mad.
  7. Question for any of you who may have bought or sold these type of tickets before: I picked up two tickets for the Lucroy bobble package a while ago, but now I've got a few friends from out of town who want to go for Star Wars night. I was thinking of picking up tickets in another section for our group, holding on to a Lucroy voucher, and selling the other Lucroy seats/voucher BUT ... the ticket office told me I would need my tickets in the original section in order to use the vouchers. That would pretty much kill that plan. I am highly skeptical of what the ticket office said, so I do plan to check with my season ticket rep. Meanwhile, I thought I'd ask here ... have any of you bought or sold the vouchers independent of the tickets and had any trouble claiming your promo item?
  8. Well, at least in the case of Scooter Gennett, it's a life-size replica.
  9. PM'd about the Braun jersey.
  10. Still waiting on my 20-ticket package as well. I was beginning to wonder. I'll just chill.
  11. I got my tickets for both the Lucroy and Uecker games today. I'm sure they'll be along.
  12. There are still gypsies trying to offload last year's crop, which were sold out in minutes, I guess. They can't even get $100 for them now. If these are your thing, that's cool, go get them starting tomorrow. They're way too gaudy/expensive for my liking.
  13. Those look amazing. Fingers crossed for no retros given the cool uniforms.
  14. Who knows. Maybe some of them don't even buy tickets anymore. It seems every year there are more and more waiting on the paths for people who exit the game, hoping to snag the bobbles for like 2 bucks a piece or less. I keep hoping the Brewers will do something about it to stop the fans from getting harassed, but so far they haven't seemed interested.
  15. That's a shame, Bikeage. I had always liked you before. I haven't even checked eBay on what these things are going for. I'm going to keep at least one of each for my collection, obviously. I'll probably hang onto both the Lucroys until I can trade one. However, if I can sell a Uecker or two to pay for the tickets, I don't see anything wrong with that. It does irk me that there are more Terrace Level available now for a few reasons. Cheaper to take 3 buddies to a game at 25 a head vs 39, demand will also go down to some degree. I was kidding, mostly. I don't get the sense you're one of the people I'm talking about. It's one thing to pick up an extra to sell to help cover the ticket price. It's another to order three or four or ten or fifteen extra tickets just for the bobblehead with the hopes of flipping them for profit. I understand it's economics and the laws of supply an demand and "why shouldn't I make a buck" and all that. Still seems like a pretty sad way to make a living, and one that doesn't derive any joy from the sport itself.
  16. Sounds like Lucroy was 6,000. Cool.
  17. That's a shame, Bikeage. I had always liked you before.
  18. They have done one per order with the Segura season seat holder bobbles last year, and it sounds like it's going to be a similar process in terms of redeeming vouchers. That being said, I don't read the ad as restricting the bobbles to one per order.
  19. I have no idea if this is correct, but my guess is that they are only selling a total of 4,000 tickets for the Star Wars and Major League nights. The wording on their ad is somewhat confusing (saying the bobbleheads are limited to the first 4,000 fans who buy the package), but it seems like it would be a logistical clusterf*ck to sell more than that and try to figure out who bought the tickets first.
  20. It wasn't lost. It was emotionally disturbing and therefore suppressed.
  21. I think the Brewers are getting wise to it, though. Very little notice for this release, so you have a be a pretty keyed in fan to see it.
  22. My only hope is that the greedy ass bobble gypsies don't ruin it for everyone and just buy excessive quantities of tickets they won't use.
  23. The glorious part is there's also a baseball game that comes with these. Try getting THAT on the secondary market.
  24. ... so you don't have to get them from some bobblehead gypsy later. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/ticketing/group_special_events.jsp
  25. It's safe to say they're affiliated with the team in some way, as the manufacturer wouldn't have been able to use the marks and team logos without the Brewers signing off.
