Dare I say, I did not care for any of these with the exception of the Durbin trade. I may even be on record saying Vaughn will never be in a Brewer uniform ever…. …… yet another reason I am not a GM.

What I would like and what I expect are two different things….. What I expect is some left handed reliever I never heard of before who is 28 years old who they expect they can tweak a delivery to make them magical. Jorge Solar and some cash for Nestor C and a mid level prospect and Paul Dejong for a player to be named later.

While it pains me to say it, the 1982 Cardinals fits that description. I think they had 67 home runs all season.

I know it’s kind of a been here done that kind of thing but what about Luis Urias? He has had success here, should not cost a lot, short term, I would not mind giving him another try at third base.

It may add to his trade value but it seems like this will leave a bad taste for others who are considering joining the club.

I think he is going to try to kick the tires on Zach Efflin. But I think he needs to shed some payroll to do it .

What about Nathaniel Lowe? Former Gold glover , silver slugger who could plug a hole at first base for a few years. Not having an outstanding season but better than what we have.

Zach Davies could be another guy with the Royals ,stats looked ugly last year with a 7.00 ERA , high whip,but FIP was 4.58

Maybe I’m wrong but it would seem Devin Williams is the last man standing from the Doug Melvin era after todays trade.

Can he still catch ? I like the idea of having a utility guy who can play 6 different positions plus be a third catcher , plus pitch in blow outs. And he has some speed to pinch run. I am in the minority but I like the idea of picking him up

Makes me wonder if they have a trade for Tyrone Taylor they are looking at. Not that I care for this move but seems odd that they traded for a backup OF/1B.

I have thought this for a few weeks. I think they will trade him, possibly package him up with Adames to the Dodgers.

Better than Perkins, guessing Perkins gets sent down and maybe Taylor to the 60 day IL?
