Same reason we could not pitch Hader in the 10th inning on Sunday ... overlooking the present for the future ... the future will be too late if we don't deal with the present, though, IMHO.

15 pitches ... hadn't pitched the last 2 days ... wouldn't pitch tomorrow with a day off ... suck it up, Hader and CC ... get out there against the top of their order in the 10th inning ... stupid to the max!!!!

Fans pay a lot of money to come watch a game and see their best players in clutch situations, AND CC pulls the plug on Hader inexplicably ... what a deflating downer ... what a terrible manager today!

I agree ... only 15 pitches in the 9th for Hader ... hadn't pitched the last couple days AND we have a day off tomorrow ... Hader should have been in there in the 10th inning facing the top of their order ... CC blew this game with terrible game management!
