Keston hitting the ball with authority today ... some bad luck outs, but good to see ... would have liked to see it earlier in the season on a more consistent basis to be sure ... will he make the playoffs roster?
Pina should have hit there against the lefty! Come on, CC! Wake up out there! Uhh, if you haven't noticed, these are basically Spring Training games, and are being treated as such. For all we know, Pina is in the massage room right now. Bally Sports Wisconsin announcers said that Counsell wants to win these games -- I heard that on last night's broadcast.
One of the very least talented pitchers in the organization to be sure. Over the hill, washed up, injury prone, blister prone, listless ... worse than Jeff Suppan at the end of his career, maybe? I hope Brett Anderson is a nice guy, at least.
*checks notes* Brewers are 10-11 in Anderson starts this year. Hard to complain about that from a #5 or #6 starter. I don't need stats going back several months. It is obvious the last couple months that Anderson has NOTHING!!!!! (with all due respect to your diligent statistics retrieval)
I'd rather see Suter, Ashby, or a bullpen game than see Anderson no matter the situation ... Anderson is rotting away and losing games for us ... the momentum of this team is zilch right now -- Anderson is killing us. The crowd is dead tonight ... they know there is no hope with Anderson pitching.
For those uncomfortable with Anderson pitching tonight (I am one of those uncomfortable ones), let us remember that Brandon Woodruff has a losing record thanks to a very spotty Brewers offense. If the Brewers don't score, does it really matter who is pitching?
