  1. He hit that ball pretty well, though ... just missed the sweet part of the bat by a tiny margin.
  2. He can't get a W unless he lets them tie it first... Very true ... he is going according to (his personal?) plan, then!
  3. Brent Suter is a great guy, wonderful teammate, extremely fortunate in racking up wins, BUT I find him frightening in close games ... too much contact given up -- doesn't put fear in lefties much, either, of course. I think the league has gotten used to his speedy tactics, too, and know how to deal with it or neutralize it by stepping out of the box when needed.
  4. Brewers need to play ALL their games on the road ... so much for home-field advantage. Maybe the fans are not loud enough? Maybe the closed-roof or the threat of it changes the dynamic of the game for the Brewers players? Maybe we need the organ playing of Frank Charles once again?
  5. Nationals definitely striking the ball better against our pitchers than we are with their pitchers. Brett Anderson and Eric Lauer are not our best pitchers, of course, though. Hopefully, we can get Woodruff going well again, get Peralta healthy again, and keep Burnes sharp/fresh for the stretch run.
  6. Reds up 5-0 going to the top of the 6th against the Marlins. Lets go, Brewers!
  7. Reds up 2-0 in the 4th inning against the Marlins.
  8. I think he had some sticky stuff ... the ball was very slow coming out of his hand.
  9. I care. I don't like former Brewers eating our lunch -- even if their team ends up losing the game.
  10. It's very hard to believe we are better off without Yelich (possibly) and Hiura (for sure) on this team (in this lineup). Who would have predicted this?
  11. Suter needs to be demoted or have his role change drastically. He gives up hits/runs nearly every outing now ... it is dreadful ... Go Brewers! Wake up, Counsell!
  12. Why does CC think Suter is good against lefties? He has not been effective against lefties for quite awhile.
  13. This is the worst .500 team in recent memory. But, Go Brewers! At least, CC has a decent haircut nowadays.
  14. Brett Anderson is a batting practice pitcher ... too easy to hit. He needs to be demoted or cut. He just is not even mediocre. He might be a great guy, but for the sake of the team -- get rid of him.
  15. Passive approach at the plate is killing the Brewers offense: https://www.brewcrewball.com/2021/5/12/22432549/a-passive-approach-at-the-plate-is-a-major-problem-for-the-milwaukee-brewers
