  1. Wow! People are actually "cool" with an "UNFAIR" league! Yowsa! The reason I cheer for the Brewers as much as I do is BECAUSE it is so UNFAIR!!! Would you root for your team as hard if you were outspending other teams every season because you could? I know I wouldn't. I'd feel bad for those "poor" teams that just don't have the same shot.
  2. I give up! You don't get the fact that it is inherently "UNFAIR" that some teams have far more spending money every year than others. The likelihood of such teams being a perennial contender is much higher as a result. If that is not painfully obvious to you and others, I would consider it either willful blindness or insanity. It's time for the fans to strike!
  3. The Brewers have 2 division titles this decade and two trips to the NLCS. It actually has been pretty enjoyable. Imagine what could be done if it was a "FAIR" league ... CC Sabathia, Prince Fielder, CoCo Cordero, Carlos Lee, Zack Greinke, etc. would have never left!!! Come on, you accept mediocrity because of an "UNFAIR" system .... it's time for the fans in Miwaukee, Oakland, KC, Minny, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Baltimore, Detroit and all to revolt against this revolting system in the MLB!!!
  4. Hiura is on everything tonight ... no results to show for it, sadly, though. Gamel ... ugghh ... I wish we had Domingo!
  5. If the MLB was a "fair" league like the NFL, it would not be an issue. Meh. I've already established that I'm not super interested in MLB having a cap. And by "not super interested" I mean "not at all" Enjoy your "unfair" league, then. Enjoy your Brewers winning the division once every couple decades, then. Enjoy your Brewers NEVER winning a World Series! Enjoy division rivals gobbling up our superstars and other free agents we cannot afford! Enjoy it all! Yeah, this is very enjoyable!
  6. If the MLB was a "fair" league like the NFL, it would not be an issue. More heat needs to be brought to bear upon the MLB ... fans in small-markets should eventually boycott the MLB until they make it "fair!!!!"
  7. Isn't Mark A. a lifelong Dodgers fan? Maybe this is all a setup to keep the Dodgers winning the NL every year?
  8. David Stearns has a ridiculously low payroll, not reflective of his wisdom. He’s been doin it on the cheap, and overperforming his payroll, but there’s a limit to what he can do. We can’t have a payroll as large as the aforementioned teams, but with a gross profit north of 75 million last year, and a contending team, SHOULD have been much higher than 127 million. If so, should some of us be screaming at Mark Attanasio, then?
  9. David Stearns doesn't have the same cash stash as they do in Chicago, LA, NY, or Houston ... Stearns was too slow, though, on getting Shaw out of the picture this season, I will say that.
  10. Houser is going to be very fine the rest of this game! Let the offense come back! The Brewers will be on the attack! The result from last night will be the same!
  11. Bad, bad managing from a very good manager. Did he think another pinch hitter was on the bench? What is his lame excuse? I really didn't have a huge problem with that. Very rarely do you want to purposely move the tying run from 1st to 2nd into scoring position willingly, even with a pitcher coming up after. Frazier is ok, he's not Christian Yelich. Doesn't have a ton of pop. You play no doubles defense, and if he gets a hit, which he did, you still have a chance to retire the pitcher. It was Stupid ... with a capital "S." Frazier has eaten the Brewers lunch for at least a few seasons ... that pitcher on deck had no chance to do any damage. Frazier had a much higher chance to do significant damage. It was Stupid ... with a capital "S."
