    One encouraging thing ... none of our top starters pitched in this series ... no Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta, or Miley ... hopefully, in a playoff series with those guys going, we are more competitive. And maybe Matt Arnold swallows some pride and brings up Hiura by then ... the guy who hit over .300 with about 20 homers in his rookie season not long ago! I don't see any of our "freshmen" coming close to those numbers!

    MLB needs to segregate teams based on market-size just as college and high-school sports segregate teams based on school size. Market size is a huge deal, and MLB ignores it, hoping fans don't notice ... and throws everybody into the same division, so to speak! Very dumb by the MLB and dishonest! More fans and courageous owners need to speak up!
