  1. "We will remember Lyle Overbay's hit... We will be talking about it in late September" Bold words from Counsell.
  2. Soon we will see Will Smith's gum hanging out of his mouth as he triumphantly exits the field.
  3. Well in his defense, if Overbay can get a triple, then Gomez certainly can SMASH one outta here right???
  4. Booyah! Braun IN. (Why on earth would my phone try to change "booyah" to "bootable"?)
  5. Thanks, Luc! Gotta give Gordon credit, when he gets caught he pops up and jogs in. Think last series he even waived not to challenge. Rare in an age when most never would admit they were out, and protest everything close. Absolutely. Love a guy who plays like that.
  6. Gomez does not seem to be capable of not swinging at the first and (what should be) the last pitch of the at-bat. Yeesh.
  7. I've decided that I like having Davey and Augie around. Just think how dull it would be to just have total pros always doing the commentary. Hilariously un-eloquent commentating is the spice of life.
  8. This may possibly be a very good start to this series.
  9. This is far from the doom and gloom I was expecting. It's been a fun one so far. (Though I am just casually watching, so not seeing Estrada pitch much)
  10. I wonder if Luc in his life ever predicted he'd be the one getting walked.
  11. They probably just didn't do their homework on the dinky Brewers and figured the silly sausage race could carry them through the broadcast.
  12. I don't have ESPN but would love to know what surely nice, informed things they are saying.
  13. Overbomb! Hilarious to see all the guys in the dugout doing the "O."
  14. I was there too. The amount of replay was insane. Probably the most disappointed I've been at a game between the bullpen fiasco and taking that gorgeous flip away from Bianchi. And losing.
