  1. My hometown of New London has pretty much been underwater all week. I think the last flood I can remember was in 1977. They had built a canal attached to the Wolf to alleviate this and it has probably worked for the most part. Shiocton's also flooded, though they always seem to flood. New London Flood
  2. One sweep will cancel out this series loss. Staying optomistic.
  3. I've been watching on Spectrum 308, and everything's been fine. FanDuel sucked with their constant glitches.
  4. I'm predicting a 10/10 overturned rate tomorrow.
  5. I was wondering if we should call him "Fastball Kyle". 😀
  6. I'll be there next Saturday. Hopefully I won't freeze my tail off, like most April games. I'm looking forward to my steak sandwich. I think food here is much better than Brewers games. Plus, I'll be getting my free Frelick jersey. It should be fun. My son in Mississippi has us set up for a Shuckers game in June, so I'll be touring some of the minors.
  7. I made sure I had Channel 308 set up on Spectrum. It'll cost an extra $10 a month, so I won't sweat it. On the guide, it was showing a spring training game in progress, but I couldn't see it, just a screen saying "Programming 4". I contacted them and they said the channel wasn't going active until March 26, so I should be set for the season.
  8. I bought my first T-Rats tickets of the season. April 4... ugh. Usually I had sworn off any April games, due to freezing my butt out there, but this one is the Free Frelick Jersey day. I'll be up nice and close right behind home plate. Some years ago I went to the home opener, which wasn't supposed to be the opener, but the real opener got snowed out. It wound up being a double header. It was nice paying $10 for five hours of baseball. Scooter Gennett made his debut at this game and my wife fell in love with him right away. Probably because he's close to my son's age and looks sorta like him.
  9. That brings back some memories. Lots of names I've forgotten. In my last job, I actually worked with Eddie Garcia. I would chat with him now and then and he was a really nice guy. Too bad he just passed away recently. He had retired a couple years ago.
  10. Bears are playing like scumbags tonight. Thanks for 30 yds, chumps.
  11. I was waiting all game for a Bears interception. Fitting it came with the last play of the game.
  12. The Eagles look like has-beens.
