  1. I was guessing a curve ball would whiff PCA.
  2. He look terrific the game we watched. So did Jesus.
  3. The weather down there has been nuts lately. Lots of rain and flooding on some streets. On Thursday we had sunny weather during the first game and then the sky opened up about 3 innings into the second game. Thankfully, we were in the parking ramp by the time that hit. Hot and muggy as hell, too. Every time I left the air-conditioned house, my glasses fogged instntly. I'm glad to be back in the mild weather now. I just opened the house up.
  4. I finally made it to the Shuckers game tonight. Last night was supposed to be a doubleheader, but tropical storm Arthur took care of that. Tonight was supposed to be a doubleheader also, but after being clear for the first game, the downpour started early in the second. Some pretty good flooding in Biloxi's streets yesterday. Got to watch Made, Fischer and our other budding stars. I had a good time, despite the ninety degree humid setting.
  5. I was set to go to the double-header this week. Unfortunately, we're getting heavy rain all week long, so we can pretty much guarantee it'll be cancelled. We got dumped on today coming through Alabama, and the interstate traffic slowed to 35 mph. Typical southern stuff...
  6. Hopefully I don't fall asleep watching this. I watched the whole thing last night and got by on less than four hours of sleep, getting up before six. I guess having no job right now lets me do this. 🙂 I'm leaving for Mississippi on Sunday to visit my son and his wife. He already got us some Shucker tickets. Hopefully we don't cook like we did last year. He's moving to Lackland AFB in September, so maybe next time we can see a San Antonio Missions game.
  7. I really shouldn't be up this late. My big orange cat, Bubba has a vet visit at 7:30 tomorrow morning. I have to be up by six to take my pile of meds and then take my blood pressure.
