The crew on MLB tv love the pick. They are interviewing him right now.

Until Counsell figures out that a starter who has given up 1 or 2 runs into the 5th inning does NOT have to be pulled this team is going no where. He has destroyed our bullpen with his idiotic over managing.

I would honestly be ok if Chacin never starts for the brewers again.

Or is it possible that Stearns really had no idea this was happening? Some of you people amaze me thinking that the brewers are aware of every move being made prior to the actual trade being done.

Pina should probably never get a start. I’m paying Grandal 20 mil he’s playing triple headers.

Interested to see if any word on his velocity?

It’s been like 2 full games since the Brewers scored.

I wish they would have resigned Wade Miley.

They need to recall Nelson. This is so painful to see every fifth day.

Anyone else see the progression from Woodruff that resembles the same path Nelson was on 2 years ago. To me the only difference is Woodys top end fb is elite. So hoping Nelson can regain his form. This staff would be so dang formidable if that can happen.

Pitching staff is slowly getting to be pretty darn solid.

Why pull Gio who was absolutely dealing tonight. 87 pitches is hardly a good nights work. Oh well he pitched a gem.

I’m gonna comp him to a guy I seen play with the brewers years ago, Robin Yount. I can hope and pray can’t I.

Although after watching another poor inning from Suter I’m thinking we would be better off trying Burnes or at least Peralta the rest of the season in his spot. Suter can be just so frustratingly painful to watch.

I think it’s a good way to get higher ceiling prospects to the show more quickly. Let them get their feet wet while having success and maybe(hopefully) get a few starts. This way they have a taste and the following year are ready to rock.
