  1. Great job by Houser to overcome the most impotent lineup that hasn't been seen since 2002.
  2. That ump has been calling the edges all night long. No reason for him to let that one go.
  3. Great mental toughness by Houser to shake off that bad ball 4 call.
  4. Was thinking the same thing. If this was a 2-1 game in favor of the Sox, we'd be talking about how this pathetic lineup had no business being on a major league field.
  5. 80s rock band? Really BA? Those unkempt heads of lettuce translate to a 90s grunge band.
  6. I don't know but if we're accepting guesses I'm calling dibs on surf instructor in Marina del Rey. I'm guessing night manager at the Kwik Trip on Sheboygan's north side.
  7. Vina, Cirillo, Jenkins, Burnitz, Nilsson, Loretta, the '99 team had a great offense, it was their pitching that was awful. This lineup is 2002 territory. Great is a bit of a stretch, but I get your point. I didn't want to insult this team quite yet using a Davey Lopes era lineup. It's possible they can still turn it around, but honestly I don't see it getting much better.
  8. I believe this is what someone meant when he said Yelich needs a day off. A game off, not a scheduled team day off. There is a difference.
  9. Amazing how pathetic a lineup can look like when you remove just one regular. Ladies and gentlemen, your 1999 Milwaukee Brewers.
  10. This feels like the late 90s. You look at the opening day lineups from 1997-2000 and they're comparable to what we have now. I mean, does anyone even remember names like Kevin Barker, Jimmy Haynes, Gerald Williams and Sean Berry?
