  1. Holy crap, to paraphrase a line Damon Wayans said in The Last Boy Scout, the Chiefs offensive line couldn't protect a cup of warm piss.
  2. I just don't understand how you can say the Packers are better than the Bucs. they destroyed us the first game and were the better team two weeks ago. They easily have more talent, especially in the front seven and receiver. OL and secondary are the only positions we have a decided advantage.
  3. I hear that "he only played seven years" excuse all the time and it just doesn't hold water for me. You know who else only played seven years? Terrell Davis. Gale Sayers played six. Sterling was the Terrell Davis of receivers during his playing time. As he put it, put every receiver's seven best years, including Calvin Johnson, against his career and see who deserves the Hall of Fame more. If he hadn't got hurt, I firmly believe he would've gone down in history as the second best receiver of all time.
  4. Does anyone honestly think Calvin Johnson is a first ballot Hall of Famer or am I the only one who doesn't? Yet Sterling Sharpe can't even sniff at Canton.
  5. Anyone else watch the Al Davis vs. the NFL 30 for 30? I just got done watching it. Very interesting and informative. I was a little too young at the time to understand all the legal issues going on between Davis and Rozelle. It's nice to have a better understanding of it.
  6. Where was this weather this time a week ago?
  7. I like the thought of facing Goff twice a year.
  8. I still remember that column McGinn wrote where he stated that the team could win without him and the very next week Rodgers gets his shoulder separated and the Packers go on to post a 2-5-1 record or something like that without him. There's one freezing cold take for you.
  9. Is it just me or does every team set their franchise records for three point shooting against Bud's Bucks?
  10. Now Dom Capers will be Detroit's senior defensive assistant after holding the same position with the Vikings this past season.
  11. Bad play call and I believe Nick Barnett was way out of position and Sharper playing too deep.
  12. Amen! One down, one to go.
  13. Yep, Pettine called man coverage with a single-high safety. Confirmed by MLF in his press conference... and he was not happy about it. I don't see how Pettine is back next year after that gaffe. Jim Leonhard is going to be an NFL DC and likely sooner rather than later. Why don't we make Badgers fans happy and finally make a Badger a Packer. Just...get Pettine out of Green Bay. Because Leonhard is a Pettine disciple.
  14. Doesn't Miami have all of Houston's draft picks for the next 19 years though?
  15. Posting this for the video, not the article. It's just opinion and speculation on Charles Robinson's part but I found it pretty interesting. https://sports.yahoo.com/packers-president-mark-murphy-were-not-idiots-aaron-rodgers-will-be-back-170045010.html
  16. It turns out Tramon did not play a down of football yesterday so he will not be the first player to play for two teams in the same postseason. So my question is...why even bother signing him then? In case of an injury?
  17. So is anybody changing their mind on the old "Would you rather be consistently good over the long haul and only win one championship or win multiple championships surrounded by a whole bunch of suck"?
  18. I think I stated before that after the meltdown in Seattle, I was so sick to my stomach that I couldn't swallow watching them play Brady and vice versa, so I didn't watch the game. I don't regret it but I did miss out on one of the most controversial plays in Super Bowl history.
  19. As if I didn't like Bostick enough, he had to go ahead and make this all about him.
  20. The one thing I can take solace in is we probably would've gotten rolled by the Chiefs anyway, but this game was important to Rodgers' legacy.
  21. It's hard to buy into any "the future is bright" shtick at this point for the franchise. They had a good enough team to get it done this year. They didn't get it done. No guarantee of being back in a conference championship next year, no guarantee of getting HFA at Lambeau, no guarantee of a weak wide open NFC. It's another massive opportunity blown. The Niners will be back to full strength next year and will most likely have a better quarterback. Tampa isn't disappearing as long as Brady is there. Of course we have to let the off season play out, but I don't see this team being any better than third in the NFC next year. If Dallas can play up to their talent level, maybe even fourth.
  22. Ditto. KC is well on it's winning tonight. But because the sun always shines on wherever Tom Brady is I could easily see the Bucs beating them. I don't know of a single person who has a more charmed life than he has.
  23. 2014 was much worse than today and that heartache will never be topped. That and Super Bowl 32 are my two.
