  1. This was my fear ever since Bakh went down. Turner wasn't going to hold up all the way to the Super Bowl.
  2. You pretty much knew that drive would end in a field goal after the failed first down play.
  3. Missed opportunity on 1st down. You can't squander chances like that.
  4. The Bucs D is going to attack the ball all game long. You gotta secure the ball every time.
  5. Key word is every. And it literally is every time.
  6. No way that should've been caught.
  7. Were there? I think 99% agreed this was the worst matchup. Not just here. On other boards too.
  8. I can't believe there were people who preferred to play these guys over New Orleans.
  9. Sullivan is getting picked on, expectedly.
  10. I wonder if the Packers asked the Bucs to hitch a ride to Tampa on their plane out of town?
  11. The other thing that makes me nervous is if the Packers blow this, I think this is the last best shot they and Rodgers have in getting another Lombardi Trophy and it'll be a long time before we see this kind of contender status again.
  12. It could be the Packers against the local high school team and I'd still be nervous. Hard not to be when the stakes are this high. I know what you mean. I'm a Nervous Nellie when watching these games too. My anxiety level won't go down until the Super Bowl dagger is plunged into the Bucs. Hopefully.
  13. MLF has gotten better, but Ill be honest, I didn't even notice the game plan being an issue. It seemed fine when they jumped out to an early lead. Rodgers picks, the momentum swing, the Packers playing in the humidity...which can be just as hard for GB guys as the Buccs playing in the cold. I guess some of the outside runs, the sweeps and pitches once the Buccs got going and were playing downhill was an issue...but the fact that he thinks it was a terrible game plan would suggest he believes he's got a good one now. So, that's good to hear. I think Keke being out is very underrated. He gave Clark an inside pass rusher to team with. Smith can kick down, but he's not great there out of the base. Yes, trying to run outside on that defense was stupid, but I was thinking more of the defensive game plan to play soft zone and not pressuring Brady with the blitz. I hope that changes today.
  14. I'm feeling a little better about the game now. I saw the Tom Rinaldi report on the pre game show and he said that MLF admitted the game plan was terrible in the 38-10 loss, with some bad schemes. Between that and he key inactives for the Bucs, we may pull this one off, but Brady is still The Chosen One.
  15. Winfield is inactive today. HUGE!
  16. To Floridians it might as well be 50 below.
  17. Yeah...that's my feeling as well. I can break it down and look at how Rodgers is playing, Brady playing in that offense, taking more chances, windy day...etc...etc...and convince myself the Packers should win this, but then there is Brady and a lot of talent on the other side. Why did Cook have to fumble? If this is the Saints, I'm feeling far-far more confident. Exactly as I feel. If we don't get pressure on Brady we'll have to rely on Rodgers to win it by himself as we've seen way too much of in the past. Otherwise it's a certain loss.
  18. I don't think there's any debate about it. It's 81/82 and it's not even close.
