  1. We can pretty much throw out the Bucks and Brewers ever getting to a championship series until their respective leagues implement a hard cap, and if they somehow manage to draft out of their minds to put themselves in position it will be a small window of time to get it done before their star players leave to join superteams in L.A. or New York. Gotta love sports leagues where all but four or five teams have no shot of winning a championship. As long as there's a theOSU, Badgers football will need a fluke game to win a championship. UW basketball had it's best and only chance in 2015. Marquette is highly unlikely too. As I've stated earlier, I believe this was the last best chance for the Packers to win a Super Bowl in the Rodgers era and are probably looking at alot of losing once he's gone. Free agents will not want to come to Green Bay once Rodgers is gone, which could be sooner than later given his comments after the game, and Love is not going to be the next in a long line of Hall of Fame quarterback play. I don't know, how are the Admirals doing? (Oh they've opted out of the season due to covid) Are the Wave still a thing around here? Green Bay has a hockey team, don't they? Is The Gravedigger still coaching in the Lingerie League?
  2. I thought they could...but when it was Tampa, I was about 50/50 they'd blow it. I mean...with the young stars on this team or stars in their prime, I could find a way to spin this and talk about how they should be just as good next year...but who the hell cares? They just blew a chance at a SB. And despite all the mistakes, if Bahk doesn't suffer a fluke, freak injury, we almost CERTAINLY win today as Rodgers would have had much more time to carve up that weak, depleted secondary. But of course, things were going too well. Of course Bahk had to snap his ACL. This was my biggest fear going into the postseason. I knew this would come back to haunt us eventually.
  3. Rooting for the Chiefs now. I don't believe Buffalo can beat Tampa.
  4. [sarcasm]Maybe Gutey should think about drafting heir apparent to Love with the first?[/sarcasm] My guess is he'll be looking to find Boyle's heir apparent.
  5. I'm sure they'll be just as ticked off about watching the Bucs celebrate on their field as they were watching last years NFCCG.
  6. MLF took the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hands with a chance to tie the game and instead gave it to Brady. And traded that for a bag of magic beans and "what-ifs."
  7. The Bucs will not punt this ball. They'll take a safety if they have to kill the clock.
  8. Another self inflicted wound that will probably come back to haunt us.
  9. This result shouldn't really be surprising to anyone given management did next to nothing to improve the team to win now. Why would anyone think we'd go any further than last year?
  10. When we lost in Seattle in 2014 in crushing fashion, I couldn't even bring myself to watch a Brady/Seahawks Super Bowl. This might be the second time I don't watch the big game.
  11. This is the same franchise that kept Capers on five years too long. I'll believe it when I see it.
  12. Even Nick Collins is throwing shade at King.
  13. Being a Wisconsin sports fan sucks
  14. Anyone who says King is a good player when healthy, just don't.
