    So there are lots of things that concern me as we approach the post season. First of all our defense has been a little bit more leaky! But even more important to me than is the hitters are chasing pitches that they did not chase when they were winning games. That will need to change in the postseason.

    I'm watching on tv. The first two strike calls in the Vaughan at bat were not in the strike zone.

    That was an unneeded challenge.

    They are basically getting no offensive production for 3B, SS, DH, and one outfielder. You can't have that many holes in a lineup and expect to score enough runs to win consistently.

    This team is incredibly difficult to watch the last few nights. Don't tell me I am being negative. I call it as I see it. They are not swinging at strikes right down the middle and are swinging at stuff outside of the zone.

    I've been to all 30 and that is definitely one of my favorites.

    We aren't going to win if the Cards keep mashing!!! Stop the bleeding.

    The Oakland defense is just not very good!!!. I hope it's like this all series.

    Honest and serious question (I don't know how to look this up): When is the last time Peralta won a game when he gave up three or less runs? Or explain to me how to look it up. Thanks.

    I realize that they are not going to win every game but when you have two defensive errors and two base running mistakes it makes it difficult to win.

    I realize it was a long time ago and these are different hitters, but Verlander nohit us in 2007. Let's not repeat that!

    For those of you who were at the game today, was it a sellout? I have been to many opening days but it just didn't work out today.

    I hate this lineup with Donaldson in it. He did little to nothing at Nashville to deserve a call up. I hope CC has a short leash with him.

    Burnes clearly doesn't have his best stuff but he has kept the Crew in the game. Can we please score some runs???

    I never expected them to do more than win the division and am not even convinced that they will do that. They just did not get enough offense in the offseason or at the deadline. What is so frustrating is they had their challenges offensively last year and they did nothing of substance to correct it.
