  1. I was at the game today (Tuesday) and Seder was back in his normal spot.
  2. Hey, I have watched the Brewers in person down at Spring training the last two days and noticed that Ed Seder is not coaching 3rd. He may just be working with minor leaguers. Or, did I miss something? Is he still with the team? Is he ill? Does anybody know?
  3. I LOVE when Braun homers against the Cards. They boo him as much as any team and any time he can beat them, it's awesome!!!
  4. Not very impressed with only 1 run after all that traffic in the top of the first. Pina swung at at least two pitches out of the zone. He could have walked! If Braun had just put the ball in play we have a chance of scoring a run. Disappointing!!
  5. Good thing we got that homer from Shaw. Knebel can't pitch more than one inning!
  6. I don't like putting Knebel in here. I know JJ doesn't really have it, but Knebel is usually not good in 4 out save opportunities and with runners already on base.
  7. Happy for Braunie. Second game in a row that he has come off the bench and gotten a clutch hit!
  8. I don't understand why opposing teams even pitch strikes to Thames. Just throw it at his eyeballs. He will swing with not very good results.
  9. If Thames could lay off the the pitch at his eyeballs he would have had about 3-4 walks over the last two games!
  10. Braun is not seeing the ball well. He let a straight 93mph fastball right down the middle go right by him and he swung (as he usually does) at a pitch in the dirt. I am almost to the point where I wish he would be called out on strikes a few times rather than swinging at the garbage!
  11. Braun never used to get himself out by only swinging at pitches outside the zone. I can't wait until we are healthy enough to put him back on the bench.
  12. I'm late to the discussion but when I first saw this lineup I was immediately worried. As good as Peralta has been he was due to come back down to earth. That happened in the first inning. And our hitters are not even making solid contact. It could be a long afternoon!
  13. I'm away from Wisconsin and trying to follow the game on ESPN.com. Any idea how long the rain delay will be?
  14. No, I don't know how to look this up, but it seems to me that the Brewers play better (have a better record) when Braun is on the DL over the last two years. Is this just my opinion or is it really true??? What is the win-loss record when he is available and when he is not available?
  15. Braun is totally clueless up their right now - swinging at pitches that bounce - two at bats in a row!
