the brewers have gave up their Prospects and it looks like our Power50 especially without any SS prospect.I would think Rogers starts at 3a in their rotation. I guess we need Heacthorn Rivas and Peralta to step up in the Minors. I do like the idea of getting 2 first rounders in the top 15 in June and then those extra picks when Prince leaves should help our farm system immensly.
sorry RW23 did not mean any disrespect just wanted to report what i read over there, the other fact i was reading there is not going to be bentancout in the deal.
the bewers according to the power 50 will lose their #2,3,5 prospects in this trade. The bad thing is there no SS prospect in the top 50 which get me very nervous heading into the 2011 season.
It doubtful that the brewers will not resign Weeks and he will have a boat load of draft picks in the next two years to rebuild the Minor Leagues. I guess SS now becomes a major need as well as starting pitching. The Crew has two picks in the top 15 in June 2011 so theyshould find two very good players.
who is now our #1 ss Prospect in the Minors and who is our #1 starter in the Minors. We are going to need a SS and Counsell won"t be comming back as a starter.
the Brewers will only have Grienke for two years and that deal is alot without signing him and extension. We don't have a legit starter in their system now and that is still a major concern.
Wow we give up ourFuture SS with no one close in the our system, and our top future Starter in Odorizzi and our potential closer in Jeffress.I hope this is not to much since we still have a lack of starting pitching in the Minors.
I still think Melvin will be adding that Second starter soon and it be up to Butler to earn a spot in the 3a Rotation. I think will see either Counsell or Cappy will also be added before Christmas.
So because the Phillis staffis now loaded and before the season starts we are saying the brewers don't have a chance? I say if we get get Blanton it will give us another sold #3 and put us up their for the Central title
