  1. It's great beating the Cubs but lets not get too excited. The Reds still have a better run differential than we do.
  2. At least it wasn’t a Javy Baez tag. I enjoy baseball and watch Sunday night on ESPN. Sadly, the Cubs are frequently on in that time slot. I swear Jessica Mendoza and Rodriguez drool over everything Baez does. Mendoza once even complimented him on the "way he handles himself between innings". lol
  3. I have two really good friends who are ICE agents. Despite what you hear in the news, the two biggest priorities and problems that ICE is tasked with right now are heroine and cocaine coming up from Central America and Fentanyl being smuggled in from China. You're friends are correct. Street heroin without fentanyl is still huge. The West side of Chicago has one of the largest heroin markets in the U.S. and crack cocaine is still being used. Don't forget crack nearly destroyed our inner cities in the late 90's and early 90's but I don't think people cared much.
  4. Verlander with a no-no and 13 k's through 8 innings, but the Astros haven't scored either. Don't forget that horrible winning song they sing after they win and all the "soccer moms" try to dance to. lol
  5. I see some Brewers fans here and there in the crowd. Maybe they should call it Miller Park South now.?? get it?
  6. Verlander with a no-no and 13 k's through 8 innings, but the Astros haven't scored either. But they took Verlander out??
  7. I swear nearly every game I watch with Baez in it, he must hold up the game some how. Whether it is strutting around like a peacock or faking an injury.
  8. Who could of predicted JJ being DFA'd last year at this time??!!!!
  9. I really wanted the Brewers to sign Darvish. Glad they didn't at this point. Darvish has been one of their better second half pitchers and the MLB "bobble heads" were even arguing that Darvish would be a logical choice to start in a wild card game.
  10. The Cubs are very, very, tough at Wrigley. Jumping on them early is a key to beating them like yesterday. What a wasted opportunity. Chatwood has reduced his walks and isn't quite as bad as most of you think. Shaw is useless at the plate.
  11. Cardinals beating up on the Reds with Trevor "The Drone" Bauer pitching. 8-2
  12. How does this Cubbies team not lead the world in runs? I’ve never seen a team underperform it’s offensive talent like they do. It’s rather comical. Our offensive has been under performing all year as well.
  13. Well Davies has a 5.42 era against the Cubs and Hamels has been getting rocked lately. It looks to be a high scoring game at Wrigley.
  14. Anyone catch the Chris "Mad Dog" Russo today? He pretty much has this team in the grave.
  15. The Cubs didn't arrive in Chicago until 3am this morning from New York. You would think they would be tired for today's game?
  16. They say that addiction is a family disease and often times not only the addict but his/her also lives in denial.
  17. Trailing in the wild card hunt is more than just games back. Having multiple teams in front of you that you must "leap frog" over gets more and more difficult. Our hitting with RISP is just plain horrible.
  18. The Cubs lineup today (no Bryant, Rizzo, Contreras, Heyward or Zobrist), yikes. If we can’t beat that just call it a season. Zobrist hasn't been with their team the whole year. And have you seen the way Caratini has been playing lately for them? Quintana pitches extremely well for them at Wrigley. Hopefully, get the "good" Anderson today.
  19. Just a weak and a half ago I think I saw that one of those "computer analysis" deals was giving the Cubs a 75% chance of winning the N.L. Central. I never believe those computer predictions. lol
  20. Greetings. I've decided to wait for a nice win to introduce myself. I grew up in Chicago (don't hold that against me, lol) but moved to Racine many years ago and been a die hard Brewers fan ever since. I still think the wild card is in reach and this was a big win today with our pitching.
  21. It's because we are a joke and no one has the grit to say that the Cardinals are better than us??
