  2. I know I saw a report that the Mets checked in on Lauer and Anderson. If paired with a SP addition, would be a huge get for the Crew.
  3. My buddy sent it to me, but I can’t find any tweets or QT about it, so I think it’s best to call it a fake.

  5. Doesn't Arcia still have an option? Or am I finding outdated information?
  6. vs RHP (3 year OPS) 2B - Wong (.759) CF - Cain (.715) LF - Yelich (1.018) 1B - Hiura (.896) C - Narvaez (.802 3B - Shaw (.790) RF - Bradley Jr (.777) SS - Urias (.545) vs LHP (3 year OPS) CF - Cain (.862) LF - Yelich (.975) 1B - Hiura (.679) RF - Garcia (.806) C - Pina (.752) SS - Urias (.873) 3B - Robertson (.749) 2B - Wong (.681)
  7. 3 year OPS splits and ERA/FIP (SP/RP splits) for our possible opening day 26-man:
  8. It kind of got lost in the shuffle a little bit. Only thing that hurts his chances is that he is a RHH and we have Urias/Robertson ahead of him to get ABs at the present time. It's interesting how our brains work with guys like this. If we had a 25 y/o in our alternate side last year that had a 271/359/942 slash line at AAA in 2018-19 we would have a 10 page thread begging the Brewers to call him up. But since he a was a under the radar signing to a minor league deal we tend to write him off. I'm guilty of it too. Maybe this is the next diamond in the rough that Stearns finds and is the next Aguilar/McGehee, or maybe hes Freitas 2.0, but either way its signings like these that get our armchair GM brains churning.
  9. I don't think he's that bad. This is 2021. Lots of big strikeout guys. He posted impressive numbers at AAA in 2019. Brewers lack hitters in upper minors. Green has a chance assuming they sign a guy like Franco for just one year. So did Eric Sogard. 2019 the juiced minor league ball. Ruined a guy like Zach Brown and Corbin Burnes. Don't read to much in to that impressive power numbers. 2018 numbers between AA/AAA: 20 HR, 75 RBI, 35 2B .281/.356/.888 While 19 seems like a bump for everyone, he posted solid power/OBP skills the year prior. He is at worst the best 3B "prospect" we have in our system, and he has the potential to be a MLB contributor if we don't add another corner IF and injuries pop up.
  10. I follow your logic 100% and think you may be right, but don't we also have a big question mark if we keep Hiura and assume he can play first as well? Moving from 2B to 1B shouldn't be all the difficult especially playing next to a gold glover at 2B. Big question is will they add someone like a Brad Miller to mix in at 3B with Robertson/Urias. Ramirez is a long shot. I think Miller makes a ton of sense to fill out the roster. He's hit .825 vs RHP the last 3 years including his rough tenure with the Crew. Him and Robertson (.749) or Urias (.873) pair really well together as a platoon at 3B and we'd always have 2 nice UTL guy on the bench.
  11. 3 years splits for Brewers projected lineup (w/DH)
  12. Josh Hader to NYM Jose Ramirez to MKE Keston Hiura, Mario Feliciano, Hedbert Perez, & Brett Baty to CLE
