  1. Plate ump will have a bruise from that one.
  2. In another somewhat quirk of today's game the Brewers scored 10 runs without the aid of a home run. I'm guessing that doesn't happen too much in today's game.
  3. Certainly not the worst place to spend your winter.
  4. Every time I hear his name I keep thinking of this guy.
  5. Man if you could somehow snag a decent young starter for him you can set the table for a nice window of playoff chances.
  6. If you pitched down under shouldn't you be a sidewinder like Kent Tekulve?
  7. Not too many guys have Brisbane on their Minor League timeline.
  8. Must be the year of the moustache.
  9. With a starter like him you only need two and an occasional third.
  10. Hoss Radbourn had after the first two weeks of the 1884 season. At first I thought you were being sarcastic but then I googled around and holy crap that guy threw a lot of innings.
  11. Does it seem like Yelly has been beaned a lot this year?
  12. Follow up question. How many complete games are there this year in all of baseball so far?
  13. Trivia question. Who was the last brewer to pitch a complete game?
  14. Myers delivery looks a little bit like Moose Haas. Probably a name not too many of you on here recognize.
  15. Adames is the poster child of feast and famine. His hot streaks are great but his current one for 17 is not.
  16. If they just would have found a way to hang on to that game last night nobody would have gave a rat's rear end what happened today.
  17. 2 runs in 28 innings. Can't win that way.
  18. 16 scoreless innings to end the series
  19. Adames is 1 for 13. He ranks right up there in the Pantheon of streaky Brewer hitters. Part of that is the extreme launch angle where when your timing gets even a few milliseconds off nothing good happens.
  20. Unless they get bit by the injury bug the Phillies are the team to beat in the NL and I don't think it's even close. The dodgers don't have the pitching staff that the Phillies do.
  21. You're never going to score many runs against Wheeler Sanchez and Nola but two runs in 24 innings is low for even that.
