Maybe they need to have a whole bucket full of left chicken wings before the games against lefties. -
Right now there is no strength on the team. There is nothing they do well on a consistent basis. Much like last year. Williams is the only thing you can hang your hat on right now.

Watching the Cards come back from a crap start to win this putrid division is going to suck.

Really push kids to be aggressive with the bat. I would rather kids occasionally chase and learn how to swing then get walks only to struggle when they advance to the level were the pitchers can throw strikes consistently. It's easier to reign them in later then it is to get them to hit after being able to stand and watch. I always had the last guy to dugout after the last out do 5 pushups and if it was an infielder it was 10.

Let's see.... opposing starter is a left-hander with an era just south of five. So I expect one run on five hits through about six innings for the offense.

It's almost too bad this division is so terrible. If we were in the West we would probably be rapidly approaching sell-off mode and instead we're going to muddle along and try and compete when even if they did get in the playoffs they simply don't have the talent to do anything.

Scoring one run or less in a quarter of your games is not a very good way to win a lot of ball games

While they didn't go in the book as errors the Brewers have had four plays they haven't made in the last eight innings of play going back to Weimers drop

It's been the issue pretty much since CC took the reins.

Weimer can't get through a game without getting screwed by the plate ump.

Huge mistake not plowing right through the runner going to that baseball. Absolutely no reason to try and Dodge the runner.
