  1. Glad to be wrong, as EBJ is clearly ready to play. Hope no issue with Keith:
  2. Jeez. Wilson nearly pulled off another great rally. Down 4-2 in the final half-inning, they opened with a Monile single and 2 walks, cutting it to 4-3 with men on 2nd and 3rd, nobody out. But an Anderson K and Montero fly out double play (Encarnacion gunned down at home) ended it.
  3. - OF Akil Baddoo reinstated from 60-day injured list and optioned to AAA Nashville (where he was already playing on a rehab assignment)
  4. I suspect that Biloxi only has 10 healthy AA level position players (Matt Wood on the bench today; Edgardo Ordonez available in an emergency), given the absences of Mark Coley II and Eric Brown Jr. from the lineup. Hopefully they’ll be right back in action by Tuesday.
  5. Still the only 20-year old pitcher in the Southern League, RHP Manuel Rodriguez makes his 2nd start of the week (5.1 IP, 3 R (2 ER), 6 Ks on Tuesday), as AA Biloxi seeks to complete a 5-0 home series sweep of Birmingham. SS Jesus Made has 12 hits and 14 RBIs in his last 6 games.
  6. The AAA Sounds have won 11 of 12 games to sprint to a 3-way tie atop the 20-team International League. LHP Thomas Pannone makes his 2nd start in Durham this week (4 IP, 4 R, 4 Ks on Tuesday). DH Luis Matos has a 6-game hitting streak, while LF Tyler Black is in a 1-for-17 slump.
  7. After winning Game 1 already today to clinch the series, the Low-A Warbirds can make it a 5-1 week with another home win over Delmarva in Game 2. RHP Carlos Carra (7.34 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, 10.0 K/9 in 30.2 IP) is actually the starter. SS Brady Ebel, C Kevin Garcia and LF Nick Monile are the lineup entrants for Game 2.
  8. Here’s the walk-off winner for Frederi Montero:
  9. LHP Wande Torres (terrific last start: 6 IP, 0 R, 6 Ks) and High-A Wisconsin aim to clinch a 4-2 series win at Great Lakes. 3B Andrew Fischer (1.012 OPS in 171 PAs) leads the Midwest League in homers (13).
  10. It’s a home doubleheader for Low-A Wilson today, who need at least a split against Delmarva to clinch this week’s series. RHP Jacob Morrison (9.1 IP, 2 R (1 ER), 7 Ks) gets the start in Game 1. DH Pedro Ibarguen has a 6-game hitting streak.
  11. I swear the ball just comes off of Andrew Fischer’s bat differently. RBI double here. T-Rats lead 4-1 early.
  12. Fresh off a walk-off victory, AA Shuckers can clinch a 4-0 home series win over Birmingham behind RHP Jaron DeBerry (6.29 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, 10.5 K/9 in 34.1 IP). RF Damon Keith (.898 OPS in 129 PAs) enters for lineup for this 9-inning affair.
  13. Down to their final out, Jheremy Vargas, Dylan O’Rae and Jesus Made hit consecutive singles to knock in 3 runs off of solid Barons’ reliever Phil Fox for a walk-off 7-6 victory! Biloxi leads the series 3 games to 0, with a 4th game to follow shortly.
  14. Birmingham and AA Biloxi have resumed their suspended Thursday evening contest, with LHP Anthony Flores entering to pitch with 1 out and the Shuckers trailing 6-4 in the top of the 11th inning.
  15. - RHP Will Childers activated from AAA Nashville’s 7-day injured list - OF Jordyn Adams transferred to Development List from AAA Nashville - C Edgardo Ordonez reinstated to AA Biloxi from Development List
  16. RHP Jacob Morrison (0.96 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, 6.8 K/9 in 9.1 IP) makes his first start since exiting a game early 9 days ago, leading a Low-A Wilson squad which can clinch a 4-1 home series win over Delmarva. DH Pedro Ibarguen has a 6-game hitting streak and 15-game on-base streak.
  17. RHP Tyson Hardin makes his 2nd AAA start (7 IP, 2 R (1 ER), 6 Ks last week) as Nashville seeks to clinch a 4-1 series win at Durham. OF/INF Greg Jones (.822 OPS in 81 PAs) makes his 2nd defensive infield appearance of 2026.
  18. 19-year old RHP Ethan Dorchies (7.62 ERA, 1.69 WHIP. 8.6 K/9 in 28.1 IP) makes his first start in 2 weeks, as the High-A Timber Rattlers seek a 3-2 series lead at Great Lakes. LF Josh Adamczewski (1.023) and DH Andrew Fischer (.973) are 4th and 7th in OPS in the 12-team Midwest League.
  19. The ACL Brewers’ 7-inning home game against the ACL Padres is underway, with rehabbing Luis Pena playing shortstop. He singled in the 1st inning, stole second base, but was caught stealing third.
  20. 20-year old RHP Jarrette Bonet struck out 8 last time out, but needs to limit the runs (5.20 ERA in 36.1 IP). He leads Low-A Wilson as they look to grab a 3-1 home series advantage over Delmarva. SS Brady Ebel has a 7-game hitting streak.
  21. After his strong MLB outing last week (5 IP, 1 R, 3 Ks), RHP Coleman Crow returns to AAA Nashville as they shoot for a 3-1 series lead at Durham. RF Akil Baddoo had 2 homers on Wednesday and SS Cooper Pratt has a 13-game on-base streak, while 1B Brock Wilken is in a 1-for-22 rut.
  22. After a missed 2025 season and 3 Maryvale rehab starts, 20-year old RHP Josh Knoth makes his High-A debut as Wisconsin seeks a 3-1 series lead at Great Lakes. CF Josiah Ragsdale (.937 May OPS in 65 PAs) has reached safely in 26 of his last 27 games.
