  1. God could these last two games be any worse
  2. Lehr coming in...third guy's a charm. What a disaster this pen's looking like.
  3. That was pretty classic about the call to his Mom
  4. Ha, a "stern talking to" Weeks and Fielder about their D...were they responsible for the 4 E's yesterday?
  5. Ugh...4-1...Maryvale sounds like "HoHoKam Park II" or whatever with all the Cubs fans there going nuts
  6. Yeah, I'm thinking this would be a good time for Nedley to run some freaking defensive drills.
  7. Overbay scores on a Caballo double
  8. Oh by the way, I can't do a box score since I'm generally half-listening here at work and sometimes have to split but I can give scoring and periodic updates...Cubs didn't score in the first half inning although they got two hits off DLR...Hairston got picked off though.
  9. Krynzel basically was asked where he thinks he should start the season and he answered that he believes wherever he's at they're gonna win and that he's committed to being a part of that. Kinda cocky, like they said, but good to hear.
  10. Man, I really liked Krynzel's confidence and pride in being a Brewer in that interview
  11. Very true. In fact, that play was the reason why a gap was added between the outfield wall and the first row of the bleachers in County Stadium. That gap did not exist before that. What about that dude in late '98 who leaned over and took one of McGwire's roid-induced homers away from him? I seem to remember him being in about the same spot as the moron who grabbed Ogilvie's ball.
  12. I was looking through some old papers and whatnot on my desk last night and I came across an advertisement for a ticket plan that the Brewers had sent me over the winter...when I read it more closely I realized it was meant for Cubs fans (it offered 10 Cubs games at Miller plus a few others, like the Yankees games, at a discounted price). It even had a photo of a guy in a Cubs hat tailgating at Miller Park! I guess since I live in Chicago and I buy Brewers tickets the ticketing office looked at their mailing list and just assumed I'm a Cubs fan....http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif I mean, no wonder the Cubs fans get off on this "Miller Park North" crap, our own club is advertising directly to them! The Cubs fans are gonna come anyway, why not direct some of that advertising money elsewhere, like the western part of Wisco? Anyways, after yesterday's mess, I'm just hoping for a decent showing, period.
  13. Outside Caballo, that was a pretty ugly listen almost all the way down the line...including the Pearl Jam
  14. But we had to listen to more singing
  15. Hopefully it's just a small flesh wound and he got the wind knocked out of him
  16. ja002h, yeah, I think so...one of your competeitors deferred to you and said you should go to Miller since you've only been once, but some other dude from Ann Arbor tried the heartstrings approach and said he wanted to bring his five week old son
  17. Guerrero is pretty amazing...another ribbie, Angels12-8
  18. Caballo with the jack, 4-4 today, 11-8
  19. Krynzel can't make the play, single drops in, Angels 11-7
