I think Suter's tactic of quick pitches are not as effective as in previous years. Clubs have scouted that and are prepared. Also, his effectiveness is reduced with RISP because checking on the runners slows him down.

It's nice to have a game that isn't dependent on a perfect pitching performance with a 2-1 score or something like that.

If I were Counsell I'd watch my back. When things go south like this the manager is usually the first to go. These hitters shouldn't look this pathetic. We can't blame not having Yelich or Huira any longer. Surely the hitting coach is the first to fall on their sword?

This one is a blackout for me, but the youtube broadcast was awful. Listenting to Eucker and Levering. Isnt the radio delay a problem, or are you using something to sync it? I might have to make this a separate thread. I want to know how to do that MLB.TV subscription. I'm in the Atlanta blackout area for TV. Radio stream is not on delay. I'm not sure if this is true in other blackout areas.

Had a better at bat than the pinch hitter would've had tbh. Looking at the options for the next two innings or so and it is Lindblom and Boxberger. Perdomo and Suter pitched yesterday. This isn't a Feyereisen, Williams, Hader situation tonight.
