    We won, but it was a terribly managed game. I could do much better. Also, we are going to get crushed in the playoffs. The GM should be fired. We need to DFA someone.

    Well, that's right, but I think it's good they didn't roll over when they were down. That was a good effort in the ninth. Maybe they can take that to the next series.

    It was a tough loss, but we were one base hit away from this being an entirely different conversation today.

    Kuhnel was not very good today, obviously. But in other outings he has been serviceable to good. All pitchers have bad days. I have become a believer in the dark arts of the Brewers pitching coaches. Maybe they help Kuhnel find the his mojo. They've done it before. Maybe Kuhnel will help us eat up innings in less pressure situations.

    Great point. Baseball is an up-and-down game. Teams have winning streaks and then they have losing streaks. Players have a good one month and then they’re not so good the next month. That’s just how the game works. This roster won’t be the same in October. Players who are good all the time have bronze plaque that don’t look like them in Cooperstown, New York. We just need to keep piecing it together and hoping we win more than we lose to take the division.
