It's not how we wanted to see it end. But there are 26 other baseball teams who didn't make it as far as we did. It's been a great season for a lot of reasons. For one thing, we crushed the cubs. I appreciate hanging out with you guys. It made the season much more interesting and enjoyable. Best to you all. Can't wait for spring baseball! -
Hard to say. Every club has a different financial situation. But yes, we'll have to see.

Willy Adames hit .225 this year.

We need some production from the 6. We can do this again with Ortiz, if he doesn't improve his hitting in the offseason.

Disagree. The players union will never go for a salary cap. It's a deal breaker. It's not about the love of the game or the experience of the fans for either side. It's about coming up with an equation that has both sides feeling like they have maximized profits. If they can get there, we'll have a season next year.

We have pitched well enough to win 2 of the 4 games. So somewhat competitive with pitching but not with hitting.

Yeli was so good for us during the regular season: 29 homes runs, batting average around .285, as I recall. It's a mystery.
