  1. In hindsight, that might be the Turang point of the playoffs for us.
  2. There are different grades of hamstring injuries. The risk is injuring it even more.
  3. I could see it because we realistically had a chance to win that series at the time.
  4. No, he should get some therapy. I don't think the risk/reward calculation favors him playing.
  5. Yes, but for now, I guess, we'll have to be content with humiliating the cubs and sending them sobbing down I 94.
  6. Latest on Jackson from MLB: "Right hamstring ailment"
  7. Stadiums are going crazy and people are texting/taking pictures, etc. I'm just going by what a person said who was there. An eye witness, if you will.
  8. I think we'd all like another World Series in our lifetimes.
  9. I think the question was whether the crowd was loud. I talked to someone who was there. Was the crowd loud, I asked. Answer: Yes.
  10. He was dynamite until he got tired. He's going to be a weapon for us next year.
  11. He's a strange guy. But the players have performed well under him, at least until the Dodgers series. That's pretty good in professional sports. He's just got to find the magic sauce to get them to play well in a series like this. I also have to wonder how much the cubs series took out of us. Yes, it was great sending home those sad cubs fans and their befuzzled manager, but that had to be exhausting.
  12. I know he's caught a lot of flack, but I think Murph has done a heck of a job.
  13. Also, spending doesn't guarantee winning, but it makes the probability higher.
  14. It was nice seeing the sad faces of the cubs fans and well-compensated manager.
  15. Oh yes. It was a time to love baseball with absolutely NO expectation that the team would play meaningful games in September and October.
  16. Every team in baseball is the best team that that money can buy, depending on how much the owner is willing to spend.
  17. He's just doing his job, making this thing exciting for viewers. There's not much good to say about the Brewers at the moment.
  18. It's another tough day. But I still take solace in the fact that we beat the crap out of the cubs.
  19. No one's going to eat his current salary.
  20. Can't. He's the leader of team, the face of the team, the highest paid, etc. But man he's a liability right now.
  21. Yelich swings at a pitch miles off the plate.
