OK. The hypocrisy of the league, but not the players, profiting from association with "gambling interests" is duly noted. But it seems like there must be a very bright and bold line somewhere to ensure that some financially troubled player doesn't try to profit by betting against himself or his team. I may have missed something (as I do), but perhaps you can suggest where that very bright and bold line should be.
For the record: I don't gamble; I just want our games and players to have fundamental integrity. Otherwise, we'll devolve into professional wrestling.... But of course, we know pro wrestling is kayfabe-fake because there's no gambling on it!
