I don’t think it would be the best move for the org to deal Pratt after the extension. They’ve shown a willingness to move guys to new positions in the past

The Athletic just posted an article indicating the Brewers had interest in CJ Abrams this past offseason, and are expected to reexplore their interest soon. Very interesting to me. Obviously the left side of the infield is the biggest spot to upgrade but with the Pratt extension + Made, its a weird spot to make a long term upgrade at. Maybe they believe they can move Abrams to 3rd? To me, it seems like something would have leaked by now if he was extending. If I remember the Pratt extension correctly, it leaked he was extending and then he sat out after while waiting for the physical/actual official signed contract. And they wouldn’t be playing Lara today as Sweet suggests if it isn’t official. So maybe it just gets leaked today, but I’m not very hopeful at this point.

I don't want to make a big deal out of this considering he just got here, but Jansen not being in the lineup against lefties is a crime and I will be quite upset if this becomes a pattern
