    If the game plan the rest of the season is to put it in cruise control and get ready for the playoffs while maybe winning a couple games by accident, then there's no point in even watching the games. It's football season now anyway. I'll be watching the Packers game on the big screen and the Vikings game on the secondary tv.

    It is their ceiling. The Dbacks are the better team and it's not really debatable. The Brewers are a product of playing in a bad division. If they played in the East or West they wouldn't even sniff the playoffs. Maybe in time as they get older that will change. But it ain't this year.

    They should just give their playoff berth to the Braves or some other team that will put up a fight.

    Maybe we're purposely throwing the series to vault Arizona to the 1st or second wild card team to avoid playing them in the first round. Murphy is playing 3D chess here.

    Arizona will sweep us again if that's the matchup. We may get it to three games again San Diego or New York.

    Another listless offensive performance by the Brewers much like the series finale against Colorado, Mitchell's home run notwithstanding.

    When Walker was drafted, he was mostly perceived as a developmental player. It was another one of these Packers' projects, getting a physical outlier to develop them within the structure of the franchise. And there it is. Developmental player. Project. Euphemisms for "bust".

    I seem to remember one game where we really knocked him around pretty good. Makes it look even more dominant taking out that outlier.
