    Colorado had the ultimate recruiting tool in Deion Sanders and have superior talent to the Badgers. I would venture to believe they will be a better team than us sooner rather than later.

    We're starting to look like a ranked team now. Let's remember that this is a completely rebuilt program and it will take time to gel. Buffalo isn't exactly a cakewalk. If I were a betting man I would've taken the points on this one.

    Glad this thread got started already. This is probably my most anticipated season of Badgers football ever. Should've really moved on from the Alvarez coaching tree era years ago.

    That's probably it concerning Payamps. As I mentioned before , maybe it's time to have Megill take on the set up role the rest of the way. Maybe they can find another mystery injury to tag on Payamps to put him on the IL.

    Yeah, I didn't understand the "even winning only one game is not a bad thing" thinking. Losing a series is NEVER a good thing, especially when you win the first game against a team breathing down your neck and have your two co-aces going the next two. You absolutely need to win at least one of those games.

    And how did that work out for them?

    And just as I say we will not see that August offense again...

    Yeah, they had a nice little offensive run earlier in the year too that only lasted a week or two but we're back to the true offensive makeup of this team. Sometimes the bad offenses go on hot streaks and sometimes good offenses go on cold streaks, i.e. Texas a couple weeks ago against us. I'd be surprised if we get back into another groove before the end of the month.
