  1. Hey, not sure if anyone heard the news. There's a pill version of Ozempic.
  2. That non-challenge at a key moment is as egregious as Sanchez' one.
  3. I'm just glad we DO have the best record in baseball. I can't imagine the carnage in here if we were run as badly as the Buccos! 😉
  4. Why would Bryse come back to the Brewers after being so disrespected? Wasn't that an argument I saw on here yesterday? It's almost like they might have a clue what the heck they are doing. 😉
  5. I've been on the various iterations of this board since Wendy was in charge and I'll stand by my comment. Maybe it's just that the loudest voices in opposition to the F.O. tend to be consistent and persistent in their criticism of owners and F.O. (Mark A is cheap, etc). In addition to pretty much EVERY manager this century. The Crew are winning IN SPITE OF 2- time manager of the year Murphy seems to be the consensus opinion. If you think it's 95% positive, then I don't know what to tell you.
  6. I increased the brightness on my iPad because it was dark.
  7. Frankly, this board does WAY MORE criticizing the front office than praising it. Which seems weird given how they've positioned the smallest market team in the league year after year.
  8. There's an awful lot of "guarantee"ing by some posters in this thread. As opposed to "guessing, when I couldn't possibly have any insight into the actual workings of the F.O."
  9. He's pitched back to back multiple times this season. With an off day Thursday he's completely available tomorrow.
  10. To paraphrase The Sure Thing... "I have...a challenge" "You have a challenge?" "Yeah, but my dad says I can only use it in an emergency" "Well, maybe one will show up..."
  11. 4 runs is the magic number. HUGE W/L advantage if we get 4. Losing record with 3 or fewer.
  12. There's gotta be one, but I'm gonna wait for the new season of Whipping Boy Idol!
  13. This move might work, it might not. However, to suggest, as some here have, that Boston is some sort of powerhouse of baseball strategy is laughable. The Devers saga was handled badly, they have consistently underperformed relative to their budget in the last few years, and the Priester trade, for one, looks lopsided. Brewers FO has targeted market inefficiencies, and defense and speed over raw power, (at power positions),it seems. Until it doesn't work, it's working.
