This year, we've had Schrodinger's Brewers Players. Simultaneously the worst players, who need benching, and future HOF guys! Don't ever change, Brewerfanatic! In the interest of full disclosure, I might still be drunk!

Been on Brewerfan since 2004. Went to way more Buckethead Brigade games than are probably healthy, with, maybe 9000 other hardy souls. Was there when Chad hit his cycle and the Bill Hall comeback game. Had a ticket for the only playoff game we won after 26 years away. Then had to give it up when the date coincided with a wedding I was hired to DJ at. I've had to ride TWO mechanical bulls in the Gaslamp District after the Crew blew 2 games vs my buddy's Padres. Lots more memories, both good and bad, following a team of occasional underachievers. All of that leads us to here. Best team in baseball, with the huge-ass trophy to prove it!!! Flags fly forever, Brewerfans!!

We're the best team in baseball. We've beaten multiple Cy Young winners this year. Ras is as good as many of those pitchers, but the Rays NEED him to win his starts. They are adjusting to our lineup in the way we used to do to other teams. We're the daddy, now. Let's go and prove it! 23.5 hours to go...

I think the last thing the Rays wanted to do was throw an emotional Freddy on his return to Milwaukee. I guarantee there will be an ovation of sorts for him, and rightly so. I think the Rays would rather he play at the Trop first rather than have the distraction of a "prodigal son returns" story. Cash, of course, can't come out and say that, but it's a hunch that makes sense in my excited for game one head!

We believed, and that belief was rewarded! I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys, but LFG and win it all!!! That's as much as I can type, there are some allergies here in the house!!!

Okay, a couple of things. The word "you", as in "you can't lose"....etc, doesn't have to mean YOU, i.e. Turbo. If I'd said "one can't lose" there would surely have been some comment about that. Also, I've been a member of this site (under another name) since, oh, around 2004, when Brian ran Brewerfan. Not sure what an ad hominem attack on my posting numbers has to do with the point I made. I guarantee I'm not the only one who doesn't post as much as they used to, due to how toxic this site can sometimes be. It IS easier to be pessimistic than the opposite. I'm not the only one to mention "the usual suspects" when it comes to immediate comments on every trade the FO makes. Hot takes ripping on the new guy we traded for while usually overvaluing our prospects, before they've played a single game. I'm not saying that I KNEW Bauers would be who he is now. That's my point. Nobody knows for certain, but most post opinion as fact. It just gets old...

Yes, hindsight is easy, but so is constant pessimism. You can't lose - either you're right and get to victory lap another hot take, or you're wrong, and the Brewers benefit = win/win. Yes, anyone who claims they saw who Bauers would be in 2026 WITH CERTAINTY is a liar, so is everyone who predicts the opposite before a bat has even been swung. And, frankly, that post is WAY more prevalent on this site. Also, LFG Brewers!!!

It's been 2 quality teams dukeing (sp?) it out over 3 very hard fought games. All the forensic analysis about whose to blame overlooks the fact that we've had a top 5 scoring team that hasn't scored, and a top defense that hasn't defended well. That's playoff baseball sometimes. The crucible is hotter, for both sides. Last time I checked, we're still 2-1, and honestly, both teams could have advanced 3-0 with a couple breaks. Padres are still a team LOADED with superstars, and we're winning with 22 year olds! If we'd been offered a game 5 at home with Miz pitching before the series, MOST here would have taken that. It's squeaky bum time, but I still believe. Gonna have to watch the game tonight at the Mexican restaurant the missus and I will be in for her birthday. Never mind Mason Miller timing his babies badly, what is she THINKING having birthdays during playoffs!

The slobbering on Padre nobs by this TV crew is getting old, fast.
