This move might work, it might not. However, to suggest, as some here have, that Boston is some sort of powerhouse of baseball strategy is laughable. The Devers saga was handled badly, they have consistently underperformed relative to their budget in the last few years, and the Priester trade, for one, looks lopsided. Brewers FO has targeted market inefficiencies, and defense and speed over raw power, (at power positions),it seems. Until it doesn't work, it's working.

I've been on this board, and its other iteration, for over 20 years. I've always believed it to be such a cop-out to be a Chicken Little pessimist. The Brewers win - much happiness ensues. The Brewers lose - see, I told you so, ain't I smart. But, flags fly forever, David does sometimes beat Goliath. As long as we have a chip and a chair, there's hope. Go Brewers, and stop coming at me with those negative waves, Moriarty!

Yeah, MLBtv. A couple games on AppleTV every year is one thing. I live in Phoenix and MLB has decided that those 6 games against the Dbacks don't count despite me paying for the privilege. Grrr.

I find it hard to rail against any provider when i pay $30 a month to watch MLBtv and they still blackout any games against the Dbacks...
