    rluz had it right on the nose.... We needed to score more than 4 runs... we score 4 and lose.

    Course Prince had hit into two DP's in his previous AB. There was no guarentee that Corey was going to get an AB anyways. IF the steal works and Prince still hits the "DB" ball.. it would've been an RBI groundout instead AND Corey gets the AB with a RISP.

    Lets also take into consideration the talent level of the division that year. HOU, STL were much better that year (course both are doing alright this year) PIT, CIN are teams that werent as good as they are supposed to be this year And i have no idea how the Cubs did that year off the top of my head.

    I would have... but 3rd shift, had to leave... that and done have cable... and its hard to watch a whoopin' like that from the other teams' broadcasters...

    To me if you can get right or left field 106-108 right up against the wall its a great place... You can see everything and no blind corners. I think we can all agree.. for the most part, no matter where you sit in MP there are some obstructed sightlines wether it be in the corners or right below you.

    Personally i would LOVE to watch the post game press conference. Its something we just dont get to see too much.. I always love listening to 4 different reporters ask the same question 4 different ways and get the same answer.

    Isnt this the same guy people were calling us to sign a few years ago? Gord Ash confirmed this on TMJ this morning. Said it was a move to increase our pitching depth after Cappy got hurt.

    Its really only an issue on high capacity days... Personnally I think its all bark and no bite. The may try to enforce something next year, or when the Brewers make the Playoffs.... but really nothing can or should be done about it.... (yet)

    Could it be some of the 'mud' used to darken the ball rubbed off? Think of how many baseballs he handled in that game.

    Don't forget, Dusty ruined Patterson's potential as a Cub... I do blame Dusty for not developing Corey into a better player.

    My problem with everybody so high on the Cubs rotation.... 1st in strike-outs last year... MOST WALKS given up last year... So why is thier rotation so good?
